Very friendly staff and great location with well appointed rooms. Only there one night but definitely will return.

The only inconvenience (not that bad) was the street construction in downtown Chattanooga. Once we found the hotel and then found the entrance (well hidden), it was OK. It's easy to miss the entrance drive, I think on the west side. The main drive in road of hotel is actually surrounded by the hotel facilities. The facilities are modern and clean. Lobby is quite pretty. The staff were accommodating and well versed and informed. I chose to use the parking garage instead of valet. That involved a walk across the grounds but I used that as my exercise walk. The pool was very good as well as the hot tub. Exercise room was pretty good. Room was very good to excellent. We had no incidents or issues with the stay. Coming a going via the garage was not difficult. I usually dropped my wife off at the entrance. We had our reunion at the hotel. I found the room and meal to be above average as those things go. We stayed at a bed and breakfast for one day and then transferred to the Chattanoogan so we got a taste of the old part of Chattanooga and the new. Another thing I liked was the tree covered front grounds between the garage and the hotel lobby. You will feel like you are out of the city while still being right down town.

Such a nice break in our road trip. We know the bed will be comfy, we will feel safe, and breakfast will be great!

The hotel has a nice location to the aquarium as well as walking distance to nice restaurants. Overall, nice for a family as well as others.

The hotel was nice and the bar with its happy hour prices was very good-evening band a little too loud

Overall it was a nice stay ..The only complaint is the mattress was very hard and not very comfortable

Quality hotel, comfortable and quiet room, warm and friendly staff, just a great hotel. Due to travel complications we had to order dinner right as room service was closing, but they were great about it and even threw in some extras. Highly recommended.

The Chattanoogan was a nice hotel located in a very convenient area. It's only a mile to the riverfront. Super clean hotel, great staff, convenient parking and great atmosphere. The Broad Street Grille restaurant in the hotel had a delicious breakfast at a great price. There are plenty of great dining options in the area as well. Although it's an older hotel, it looks like they've kept it updated. Lots of charming decor. Would certainly stay there again!

Was worth the deal we got for it ($130) but I would not pay $180 for it.

We came down for the weekend. The hotel was very easy to find, the room was super comfortable, and our kids loved swimming in the indoor pool and watching the storms roll in that night. The staff and valet were super friendly and answered any questions we or our kids had! We would stay there again!

comofortable hotel, close to restaurants, great late night bar, outside seating

Hotel was beautiful and rooms were nice and clean. Enjoyed the stay with only a few negative comments. Room had no wrapped cups and glass cups were dirty. Dinner at Broad Street Grille (onsite) was pricey and uneventful. Cheap cut of meat and "fresh" cookies were hard, served on a warm plate.

We stayed here on a weekend getaway. Great hotel very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. It is not within walking distance off he Aquarians and ball park but still a great place to stay in Chattanooga. Two blocks from the choo choo.

Upon pulling up we were greeted by friendly staff. We visited with two young children (ages 3 and 6) and while we didn't see a lot of other children - everyone seemed tolerant of the exuberance of their spirit around the hotel. The fireplaces were lit and the rocking chairs were stationed in different parts of the lobby. Contemporary - yet cozy and homey. A rare blend - but part of the Chattanoogan. The breakfast was not included but it was a good value and exceptional quality.

The Hotel is very nice. The room was comfortable... The staff was excellent... I booked a Deluxe King bed room and they did not have any available... We were placed in a double bed room... I'm glad we weren't on our honeymoon. It shouldn't be advertised that the hotel has them available if they do not have them available. This was not the hotel's fault.

combined work with play, and stayed an extra night after business meetings. It was an easy walk to great restaurants, and the shuttle is wonderful also. The facility is gorgeous and the staff very friendly and helpful.

The staff was very helpful and answered all my questions. The location was ideal for my downtown meeting. And the BEST was the food at the Restaurants. I was there was the Italian Buffet and Opera Singers on Thursday night. That was SUPPER!

This is definitely a nice hotel especially for Chattanooga. This hotel is centrally located with a free shuttle stop about a block away which will take you to all of the Chattanooga tourist attractions. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean (minus a suspicious white stain on the dresser where we stayed). This hotel is nice to look at, and the pool goes to a depth of 3.5ft. The amenities are great, and just what you expect. I did not try the restuarants, but the band they had in the Foundry when I stayed sounded alright. There is also pool there, and the restaurant staff were super nice! Definitely do not pay for parking here though. Parking is usually free on the weekends if you park on the street, there is also a large public parking lot about three blocks away for $3 (unless there is an event). Whereas parking at the hotel is $8 or $12 (valet). If you are able bodied and do not mind walking a little, definitely park elsewhere and take the shuttle. Also, if you are looking for diversity or nightlife, Chattanooga is not the place to go. Everyone tends to look the same, and things shut down around 10PM. Just FYI. It is pretty and a great place to relax though, especially at this hotel with the built in spa/rec center!

I got terrible food poisoning from the chicken ceasar so I am TRYING to look beyond that. The bed was not at at comfortable. beautifully dressed but horrid pillows and mattress. The service staff was definitely 4 star- very nice. Don't mistake it for a luxury hotel, however. it is a convention/ family friendly facility to be sure. I will not return.

Staff was excellent from the front desk to housekeeping to valet. Great service and a lot of fun. Walking distance to downtown made things easy. Would highly recommend.
