Overall good experience. Hotel food was not the best, but staff very helpful.

Car was robbed while in valet care. Several expensive items taken.

i've stayed this hotel first time for me. Here is middle of downtown and it's easy to accesss amywhere.

Stayed here for a convention. The convention center was attached to the hotel which made it convenient. Great staff, good facilities, rooms good, but are in need of updating. No room safes, or refrigerators.

This hotel is downtown and it is pretty easy to get around in Chattanooga with the free shuttle running about every 15 minutes. The valets at the hotel were excellent - very polite and one of them gave us excellent directions the morning we checked out. I asked the same question to a member of the desk staff when we checked out and her answer made absolutely no sense at all. Our room was hot and the air conditioner never worked properly during our stay. They sent the maintenance guy to check it out. He said it was cooling, but it took hours for the room to get cool and we had to keep the curtains completely closed the entire time (2 days). The maid knocked on the door way too early, and when we asked her to come back later, she said she couldn't. I then asked her just to leave some clean towels and she pretended that she didn't understand English (although she understood perfectly just minutes before when I asked her to come back later). We could hear talking and the tv from the next room, and lots of noise from the halls. If you sat on the edge of the bed, you were in danger of sliding off. The bed was way too soft.

Everything was great from the check in process to the customer care, the room and amenities.

From the time we pulled up to the hotel until we left, the staff was friendly and helpful. They offered to park our vehicle, handle our luggage, and the lady that checked us in even offered to make us dinner reservations. When we got to our room, it was clean and inviting. After being on the road for several days, this was a refreshing stop.

Loved the hotel but they did not clean the room one day and I had to call down to the desk and it did not get cleaned until 8 pm. Breakfast in the hotel was not good. Do not waste money. Staff was very friendly but housekeepers did not speak English so could not communicate with them.

I've stayed at many Marriotts around the U.S. and am usually very happy, but this one had the worst breakfast buffet. Everything was greasy and tasteless! The food was cold as well. I did tell the front desk when I checked out and he was kind enough to remove it from the bill. I hope this was just a one-off. The rest of the hotel met expectations and the location couldn't be better.

One night stay. Very friendly staff. Easy walking distance to some great restaurants.

I had a glitch with my room front desk took care of it immediately very happy with my experience will visit again

Super. Friendly staff, room very clean, bed comfortable

The parking situation was a little confusing, but not a big deal. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The lobby and other amenities were very nicely appointed and modern. The room was extremely clean and had some nice upgrades like a curved shower bar and lots of various plug ins for all our electronic devices. The bed was pretty uncomfortable. It felt like they were trying to hide bricks with six layers of down and cotton. All in all, it was an average hotel with an above average price tag.

Great location. Thought the mattress was too soft. Staff reccomended good eating places nearby

We spent a weekend in Chattanooga and could not have been more pleased. The hotel is located downtown, in walking distance both to the aquarium/waterfront as well as the Chattanooga Choo Choo. It is clean, they allowed early check-in, the view from the higher floors is fantastic, and they offer complimentary Wifi. Would stay here again any time.

We knew it's going to be your standard Marriott:modern, simple and convenient - and it turned out to be a little more than we expected. The room was nicer than some other Marriott, the lobby was cute (the free fruity drinks and the little fish), the staff were super nice and helpful, etc. The shuttle was easy. We took it to the aquarium then walked to the art district;; then restaurants; then walked in downtown just hanging out; and before we even realized, we were back in Marriott already. Not super close to downtown but convenient enough!

We had a great experience and enjoyed the free shuttle service to the downtown area.

My girlfriend and I wanted to come to Chattanooga for a mini vacation and we really enjoyed our time at the Marriott. The parking was a little confusing at first but once we checked in we understood the procedure. The room could have been a little more replenished (new toilet paper, garbage bags, etc) but overall it was enjoyable.

A bit out of the way from down town. But everything was very walkable. Our room was clean and te staff was great. I will stay again.

Good times were had at the Marriott. The beds and linens are second to none. Staff was good, outside of Richard (one of the at your service clerks). Front desk was spectacular! The room was clean and comfortable. It would have been great times if they would have made the coffee bar open later. If you stay you have to try City Cafe just down the street! That's some good eats! MM
