The young man at the front desk was bombarded with several check-ins and the phone ringing steadily but he kept his composure and was very attentive and pleasant the whole time. The room was very clean and up-to-date but we could hear the guy in the room next to us all night whether it was the TV, the late night phone calls, the snoring or the morning alarm (which he seemed to sleep through as it went off for a long time). The breakfast was good and check out was smooth.

Spent three restful nights here. Room was quiet and clean. Staff were pleasant.

Could have been cleaner, bedspreads not clean. Pool over clorinated. Breakfast not great - pastries were stale. Would not recommend this hotel.

Hotel was located close to attractions such as Monticello, Ashlawn, and Montpelier. Breakfast was better-than-average. Hotel staff was very helpful. t

I continually forget my swimsuit for their door pool and hot tub. Breakfast was good. Best shower head ever!

Location was good and it was close to Jefferson's house and 5 min drive to downtown. There are not many nice restaurants in the area except for fast food. We were satisfied with this place.

My stay at this hotel was everything I asked for. The weight room took care of what I needed, while the hot tub was the true bonus! I would definitely go back again.

The staff was so friendly and willing to accomodate us. Hotel was very clean, breakfast had a good assortment of hot and cold foods and beverages. The pool area was well kept. I will say the pool was a bit cold the night we were there, but warm in the morning. When mentioned to the front desk, she promised to have someone check the pool heater. We will stay there again.

Room Was Clean, Staff Was Great. It Is Your Basic Hotel, Just Cleaner Than most.

The Sleep Inn is clean but a bit dated. The carpets in the rooms are stained, so are some of the bedcover; toilet seat was very loose and tricky to sit on. Front desk service friendly & helpful. Pool area very nice and clean. Breakfast area good with enough tables; TV annoyingly loud: "Divorce Court" for breakfast - honestly?

We like Sleep Inns Because you really get what you pay for. There are not a lot of amenities, because the focus is sleeping. There were a lot of noisy neighbors that disturbed our experience this time. Otherwise, it was a standard stay at a Sleep Inn. We were able to sleep, and go about and do our business in the area.

The staff is very friendly. It's an old hotel but it is up kept. Rooms are a little tight but otherwise fine. Beds were a little uncomfortable. We stayed here three nights and were overall satisfied.

Stayed overnight to ski at Wintergreen. Reasonable price, quiet, clean, included breakfast, courteous and professional staff.

This hotel was a little too expensive for the quality.

unpleasant odor in lobby~musty/chlorine from pool? room was clean but a little dusty. bedding is very dated & sad looking. do not feel i got the value for the price i paid. fitness room- treadmill is awful. the treadmill was so narrow ( i actually fell off at one point!) & the belt was worn to shreds in some areas. also the control panel vibrates as you run making an annoying ruckus. cigarette butt on the floor near elevator-yuck. although they claim to have wireless internet i was never able to log on. think system was overloaded or something. all in all not impressed.

We spent one night at the hotel. Two kids and two adults...We found the room a bit cramped. The bathroom was quite big, space that could have been better utilised if part of the bedroom. The air conditioner was very loud...TOO loud! We had to switch it off in order to sleep. It was early August and we ended up being hot and stuffy and not sleeping too well. The room, although looking quite clean, had a distinct musty smell. We experienced the staff as extremely friendly and helpful. However, we would not have enjoyed staying longer than one night.

fine, unexpectedly booked into a king smoking room instead of double non-smoking room which was disappointing.

I stayed at this hotel just for the night after a full day of snowboarding at Wintergreen Resort. The staff was friendly and and had our room ready as soon as we checked in. The indoor pool/hot tub was amazing for soar muscles after a long day on the mountain. I would recommend staying there if you need a reasonable place to stay for the night.

Room was clean and staff super friendly. Wish room had microwave. Close to UVA hospital when I had to do tests and couldn't drive home.

The front desk employees were very helpful with directions, recommendations for meals, and getting menus when we wanted to order out. very friendly staff.

Dear Niffer92, Thank you for the positive acknowledgement pertaining to the service you received by our staff. Our management team is always actively working hard to ensure our staff is providing the best customer service in a great environment. I am pleased to see those efforts pay off on your last visit. I will make sure to share your kind words with my staff so they get the recognition they deserve. I do apologize for the inconvience of being assigned to a room that didn't seem to be the most quiet room on property.
