Checking in was easy, and quick. I did notice my card was charged about $50 more than I was suppose to pay for my stay, but the front desk was quick to explain it to me ( precharge in case of damages). Assured me it would drop off, and it did. The room was clean and spacious (double bed) a/c had no odor and was quiet for me throughout the night. To be close to the interstate, I didn't hear anything at all. Bed was comfortable and the pillows were awesome. Shower pressure was fantastic, and the temperature never faltered. Breakfast was typical. Though sadly the hard boiled eggs were beyond saving and the egg and cheese omelet was dried out. Though there were other options such as waffles, oatmeal with fresh toppings, bagels, fresh fruit and yogurt. This hotel is easy to get out of, if you are making a right. A left proved to be tricky at some times during the day. Several restaurants just a short drive in any direction. I had to leave due to a problem at home, but I was able to check out with no problem. and my card was charged the right amount. I would gladly stay here again if I am in the area.
We regularly use Fairfield when we do our North/South (S/N) trips. This hotel is fairly new and about average for this Marriott chain. We asked for an upgrade as we are loyalty members, but not such a large step up, if any. Outside party goers were coming through the closed window loud and clear. Breakfast was fair but I always get my treat-a waffle. Saw no baked goods. Scrambled eggs and cheese omelette were bland( tasted my husband's). The fresh fruit was good. Location was great...easy access to highway.
On our way to Myrtle Beach, we decided to try out Carowinds. This property was easy to get to from the park. The property is updated, but there were a few minor cleaning issues that could use attention. One required us to change rooms. It was fine, but not great.
Located just off of I77, this Fairfield Inn is a great place to stay. It's near to Charlotte uptown and also near the airport, both are easy drives and not as congested as places north of Charlotte. The Fairfield Inn is clean, rooms are large, ample parking, prices are right and staff is friendly. Standard fare for free breakfast but it tasted good.
Stopped at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Charlotte Arrowood on road trip on the way to Florida. As usual, with a Marriott, everything went perfectly, from the registration, to the check-in, to the room, to the check-out. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the breakfast was great, as well. It didn't hurt that I had a certificate from Marriott for a free night. Perfect stopover.
I was in the area to watch my daughter’s frisbee tournament at the Ramblewood complex. The team was staying here (as were many other teams) so I decided to stay there for convenience. The room was large, very freshly decorated and clean. The bed was very comfortable. It does have those ugly wall unit heat and ac but if you set the temperature correctly it rarely goes on. There’s a fridge and microwave along with free internet. The breakfast area is small (or seemed that way with all the college students!) but offered good choices. It is a good option for this type of trip.
This is a nice place to stay for a short trip. There is a complementary breakfast. The rooms are very clean. Housekeeping service is daily and very nice. The location is close to all major highways. The beds were comfortable. This place is located in a nice quiet area . This is a Marriot hotel. The Marriot Incorporation should lower the price of hotel per night. Overall it was a good stay.
Went to check in on 12/26, LABRIA at the front desk, was shuffling through her shift. This property has a "spinning wheel" on the front desk! Great idea if LABRIA is hiding under a rock. Darla, another employee, was quite busy working on cleaning near the front desk. LABRIA, whom I believe is not qualified to have interaction with humans, shuffles out from behind her designated sequestered cubicle, as she shuffles out I attempt to spin the wheel. GREAT! I WIN 5000 Marriott points! Being Platinum with Marriott, I appreciate extra points. I tell LABRIA that I just won 5000 points. She claims she didn't see me spin it. "Labria, you were standing right there behind the desk!" Labria LIES and tells me the wheel is for new members that sign up with Marriott Rewards when checking in. A miss-statement of fact as Marriott would not allow LOSER to be posted on the wheel in 5 places! This wheel has 100 points, 500, 1000, 1500, free coffee (?) 5000 points and LOSER. LOSER is prominently displayed significantly more time than any of the winning options. I call over to Hyatt, check out of this Fairfield and go down the road where the front desk employee is friendly and professional. On another note, I stayed here a week earlier, Janie at the desk was incredible as was the rest of the staff. Labria desperately needs customer relations training or find employment where she doesn't interact with others.
This hotel was a wonderful stop for our travels. The rooms were beautiful quiet and clean. Front desk staff was very professional and courteous. The free breakfast was one of the better breakfasts we have ever had and we travel a lot! Great location right off the highway.
The staff was friendly and the location to our tournament was perfect. Lots of restaurants close by for eating out. I️ even left my sunglasses in my room after we departed, and I️ called the manager, Todd, the next day and he Fed Ex them to me. The rooms were very clean. Great stay!
