Very organized and friendly customer service. The hotel found a safe way to serve the complementary drinks and breakfast despite the fact that we visited the city during the pandemic.
Very clean and the staff was helpful. They have done a good job making sure that everyone is safe with their COVID precautions. We will definitely be staying with them again on our next trip through Charleston.
The front desk staff were very friendly and reassuring about the COVID precautions being taken. A little disconcerting to see so many guests without masks in the lobby area, however. Room was beautiful and very comfortable!
This was our first stay since the renovations. Our stay was fantastic. Have a reservation there for mid March when we will again be in town
Used to have a hot tub but it was filled in. They charge you 16.50 for parking regardless if you park or not.
The reception from 5:30-7 was a delightful surprise. The architecture of the place further contributed to a sense of community that is absent in other hotels and it enhanced our stay to have this conviviality. The breakfast was amazing! Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We will be back.
Paying for parking is ridiculous. The rooms are dated.
Happy Hour Reception was Great, free Breakfast. Room was spacious. King size bed comfortable.
Great location but they are renovating. Many amenities not available. Charged my twice for parking. They won’t rescind second charge
This hotel has a great location and amenities. However, at the moment they are undergoing major renovation. I was aware of this when I booked, but I didn't realize how much impact it would have on our stay. Main entrance is not available, whole first floor is covered in plastic, getting renovated, so breakfast is served in a small hall. Once renovated, I believe it will be very impressive. In the meantime, it is little inconvenient.
Being down town among other larger buildings it felt a little claustrophobic, and space in front of their entrance for cars is pretty limited. Expect to pay $15 for parking at a garage but it is right behind their hotel. Reception area a little odd as they have 4 small individual check in stations instead of a longer desk area and not any real queue line to stand in for your turn that I could see. Worked out ok ...staff very friendly and helpful although I had to remind them to look me up as a Hilton Honors member so I could get the Wifi without being charged. They forgot to supply enough towels but were quick to remedy it once I asked. Area under sofa bed unvacuumed. Caulk around tubs a little moldy o/w BR ok. No shampoo bottle.. gave two conditioner bottles instead. Room quiet. Beds pretty comfortable . Breakfast really good... wide selection...omelet station made to order. Pool being renovated. Overall I think it is pretty good hotel with decent rates and would stay there again.
it was a great business trip. the only thing I would change is that we had to park in the parking garage, which was fine but I came in one night late and there is no security out there and it was not a safe feeling walking from there into the hotel.
Nice hotel. Pricey for the area though. Love the breakfast.
The room was nice and the breakfast was good. Parking was inconvenient and staff efficient but not particularly friendly.
Because it’s downtown they charge for parking and no where does it tell you that. Our sheets were dirty in the pullout bed.
Perfect location. Right in the middle of downtown Charleston.
My husband and I recently stayed for one night. Although the hotel was comfortable we found it to be quite tired. We didn't find the staff engaging. No real welcome from the front desk. Two people did make a conscious effort though at the manager's reception, the man serving beverages, as well as the man filling snacks and keeping the area clean.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel , as part of our 2019 renovation the hotel received a new saline based pool that is open from 7a -11pm daily. Being a Downtown location there is a parking charge for parking a vehicle, however if a guest does not drive in or uses our complimentary shuttle we do not charge the $15 plus tax parking fee.
