There is no valet, but there are plenty of spaces out front of the hotel (as photographed) with cones blocking them. I arrived at 2:30am after a grueling drive with my child during a cross country move. I asked about the parking spots and was told they are “reserved”. Reserved for who? There’s nothing on the website about reserved parking. I had to park a block behind the hotel and walk alone. Then the closets door to the parking garage WAS LOCKED. How? Why is your staff okay with a woman walking alone like this? It’s extremely annoying when there’s plenty of parking in “reserved” spaces that I had no problem paying for but I had to use a lot in an unsafe situation. So disappointed.

The pic of the pool, hot tub are fake pics. When I realized this I felt as if I had been taken. Parking will cost you at least $15 , it is not included. One thing I was happy with was the breakfast , it was good. I’m not one to leave reviews, but in this case I had too

Nice place

Staff are excellent

All the handicap parking was blocked off. Reason given was tree trimming being done. The spaces were also blocked a week before. No accommodations were made for handicapped guests. I believe blocking the handicap parking spaces is illegal. The hotel could have arranged valet parking for handicapped guests. Instead I had to walk approximately 2 blocks after parking because the back and side entrances to the hotel were locked.

Our bathroom was not adequately cleaned. There was dust build up in the corner under the sink. Also, our small coffee maker didn’t work. Food in the breakfast buffet was cold.

Nice price for a nice hotel…

Loved the atrium! Mad for lots of light and a bustling, exciting area to gather.

Be honest about Cocktail hour there was no unlimited drinks

Very organized and friendly customer service. The hotel found a safe way to serve the complementary drinks and breakfast despite the fact that we visited the city during the pandemic.

Very clean and the staff was helpful. They have done a good job making sure that everyone is safe with their COVID precautions. We will definitely be staying with them again on our next trip through Charleston.

The front desk staff were very friendly and reassuring about the COVID precautions being taken. A little disconcerting to see so many guests without masks in the lobby area, however. Room was beautiful and very comfortable!

This was our first stay since the renovations. Our stay was fantastic. Have a reservation there for mid March when we will again be in town

Used to have a hot tub but it was filled in. They charge you 16.50 for parking regardless if you park or not.

The reception from 5:30-7 was a delightful surprise. The architecture of the place further contributed to a sense of community that is absent in other hotels and it enhanced our stay to have this conviviality. The breakfast was amazing! Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We will be back.

Paying for parking is ridiculous. The rooms are dated.

Happy Hour Reception was Great, free Breakfast. Room was spacious. King size bed comfortable.
