Courtyard by Marriott North Charleston Airport/Coliseum

The facilities were excellent. The rooms were large and comfortable and the meeting area was well equipped. We did need supplies for our meeting and they willing helped.

This location does not live up to the usual Courtyard standard. Staff was unpleasant and was unable to provide the room I had booked. The room provided was not comfortable and the accessibility bathroom was incredibly poorly designed - the entire bathroom floods in seconds if you start the shower. This location should boost itself to the standard people expect from Marriott and Charleston.

It was okay for the night. But it was in a great location 5 minutes from the outlets and 15 minutes from downtown.

Great location. Nice over night location. Nice priced

Our flight did not get in until 11:45pm and although the hotel's shuttle had LONG since stopped running, the desk agent and the shuttle driver went out of their way to pick us up and get us to the hotel free of charge.

My wife and I found the hotel to be exactly what we needed in terms of convenience. The staff gets top rating for friendliness and helpfulness. It is the first thing that we mention when talking to friends about the lodging experience.

Allowed just what we needed a quite place to regroup.

Very clean and friendly.

Thiw was simply an overnight stay on the way to somewhere else. It was clean, comfortable, and not terribly expensive.

Excellent, room, bedding, pool, exercise room, common areas. Quiet room with good sunblocking curtains. However, in this day and age with all the warnings about germs, I can't understand why single service WRAPPED coffee cups and water glasses, let alone brew containers are not required in every room! Where is the health department? Real china may look good but it turns my stomach. I don't kow if it is clean or the maid wiped it out with the last renters washcloth!

The room was decent and clean. It was near the Airport and the Tanger outlet mall. You will need to drive 10 to 15 mins to go into the city but it is worth it for the price. Overall decent location with courteous staff.

We checked in with the most friendly and helpful staff member I believe I ever experienced. This is a nice hotel clean and neat and was a good value convenient to downtown Charleston.

a good experience. very clean, restaurant could have been better.

Friendly & convenient

I went to North Charleston to take my NCLEX at the Pearson Vue Center located on LaCross Road. The center was located only 0.5 miles from the hotel. This hotel was the closest to the center. The hotel was conveniently located to I-26. The hotel was located in the same lot as City hall and a movie theater. Traffic around the hotel was minimal. Many restaurants were close to the hotel. The staff was very nice and made every accomadation I requested. Breakfast before my test was very good and plentiful. The waitress was one of the best I have ever had. I didn't get to use the pool or the fitness center so I can't comment on those. Compared to other hotels I have stayed in the internet worked the best in this hotel. They had wireless, but the wired internet was available in the room for fast reception. The beds were fairly comfortable. I sleep well through the night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in this location. Also I went to folly beach in about (30 mins) and downtown was easy to access as well.

I traveled by myself to visit a friend. The location seems safe. It's near the outlet mall and other shopping areas/ gas stations/ starbucks/ fast food, etc. It's located pretty much in the same parking lot as a movie theatre, so if you're into that... it's a good location. The beds were really comfortable and they give you a ton of pillows. The room seemed clean and I had no issues at all on the first day, but the second night I found a cockroach in my sink. Bugs don't freak me out as much as they might other people so take this as you wish, but it wasn't a deal breaker for me. I'd stay here again. The place seemed clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The one cockroach was the only issue... but I don't think it's a widespread problem so I'd still recommend the place.

The rooms were very comfortable and large. The restaurant was the best. [...], the hostell was the best ever. Would go bac just to see her.

Extremely nice hotel, in a newer area, near Mall and City Hall. Extremely nice staff, had just a little trouble with Internet in rooms. Don't expect to get Marriott Points if you book thru here.

All I needed was a place to sleep. I got a lot more, the breakfest buffet was very good. The staff was very nice and efficient.

It was pretty uneventful, decent room, small, TV not located for two people to see while in bed. In room Coffee things were clearly not washed in a dishwasher, cups had dried creamer in bottom, and pot parts had dried coffee residue. Breakfast was a disaster. New cook, obviously did not know how to cook eggs, scorched and running all over the griddle. He HAND DIPPED his own UNGLOVED hand in a container of mixed things for the omelets, and walked across the 6 foot area to drop in the middle of a 1/16 in spread of egg that was an omelet. We chose to go to another restaurant to eat........ The outside area was under construction and noisy.
