Amazing property

We had a wonderful stay. The house is within walking distance to King Street restaurants and shopping. The house is charming and very clean. Will definitely be back!

Everything was very nice. My only complaint is the mattress in the big bedroom on the 1st level, it caved in the middle and was very uncomfortable.

It was really cold and the host responded by dropping off some space heaters to augment the heating system. Great location.

Had a great time and enjoyed our stay. Nice updates to kitchen and living spaces while still maintaining features from original build. Nicely located in historic area. Well equipped and nicely maintained! Thank you :)

Super cute, super location

Beautifully redone, quiet and quaint. This place was perfect for my 3 kids (11-17), my mom, and myself. The living area upstairs had a Wii that we all enjoyed, and the kids could walk to a Boba tea place a few blocks away. Adorable breakfast place two doors down. Parking was ample and we all felt very safe. Loved this stay!

Christmas

Our family gathered in Charleston for Christmas at the Barbuda House. We were pleased that each bedroom had its own bathroom. We were pleasantly surprised at how equipped the kitchen was for us to cook Christmas dinner. The unit is walkable to King Street.

Nice property. Comfortable spacious home with 4 BR/4BR. Beds very comfortable. Linen clean. Kitchen lacks foil paper and cookie sheets. Strong pet smell. Possibly urine. Home Could use deep cleaning, carpet, couch shampooing.

Classic Charleston with Luxury

We had a large group and a labrador - this beautiful, classic home was a true taste of Charleston's history with all of today's conveniences and style. We enjoyed the super comfortable beds and updated bathrooms. It was so nice to have a huge sectional for all of us to gather and watch a movie in the evening, in the beautiful space. While not walkable, we were a 5 minute drive from the historic center of town. Meanwhile the surrounding neighborhood had charm and class, and even a little coffee shop on the corner. Stay Duvet offices were literally down the street and everything was so easy and well managed. Highly Recommend!

Had a great time in Charleston

Pros: Interesting 1800s historical home. Able to walk to downtown Charleston. Very comfortable beds. Showers had plenty of hot water. House was very clean. Plenty of privacy for every bed and bath. Cons: House was not equipped with essentials. Had to purchase for all 4 bathrooms shower gel, bath soap, and tissues. If you did not bring your own shampoo and conditioner you would have to buy that too.They only supplied 1 hand towel. 2 face clothes, and 3 bath towels per bath room so we had to do several loads of towel washes. The kitchen was described as a cooks kitchen. But in reality it did not have adequate pots, pans, utensils. and serving bowls. It was impossible to cook a meal for 6 adults.We had to purchase dishwashing liquid, trash bags and sponges.The description should not say that all these things were provided if they were not so you could plan ahead

Great property! It hosted out party perfectly. Short walk to the bars and restaurants downtown. 15-20 min Uber from tons of great golf courses. Will stay again!
