Stayed here for one night. Staff are friendly, breakfast is excellent (only £7.50) if you pay at the reception. Rooms are ok, a bit worn. No fridge is an issue. Location is good, easy walk to sites. Next to the shopping centre and a Tesco Express.

This is one of the best hotel stays I've had recently. Don't be put off by the brutalist architecture, inside , this is one of the friendliest and best run places you'll fund. Nothing was too much trouble, and when I realised I'd left some items in my room when I left, they were so helpful and got them posted to me the same day! It is spotlessly clean and the breakfast buffet is good with vegetarian and and vegan options. Being looked after so well made being in Cardiff even more lovely!

Stayed for one night to watch a show at the motorpoint arena, location was great as the hotel is opposite the arena and close to the main shopping centre. We were fooled by the pictures on their website of a bright and colourful foyer, that the rooms would follow suit, however the room was dingy and drab, with only a porthole window which looked out onto the foyer. With no natural light there was only a few lamps to keep the room "bright". There was dust on the top of cupboards, the outside of the air conditioner and the aforementioned porthole window was dirty with marks all over it. The room was hot as there was no real ventilation, there was an air conditioner which did help, but there was no instructions on how to use it so turning it off didn't work how you'd think, and it was quite loud which made it difficult to sleep. Our room was right next to the lift, which made creaking sounds and with guests or staff coming up or down through the night also made it difficult to sleep. One of the bedside lights flickered, the usb ports on the outlets did not work for charging and the light in the vanity mirror did not work. The double bed was just two beds connected together. Even at the coldest setting the shower was almost too hot to stand in. I had booked a superior room, which included one set of a very unsoft, short robe and a pair of slippers, which did not fit. It did however include a breakfast which was very nice, otherwise this would have been a one star review. Overall, the location and food was good, but at £124, I felt like I overpaid for the room.

Not my first visit to the Park Inn and all my previous stays were trouble free so this stay fully met my expectations for efficiency and a warm, friendly welcome. Check in and check out were both easy and quick with no wait to be served. Everything 'just worked' which is exactly what I want on a business stay.

The hotel was welcoming, clean and comfortable throughout our stay. The decor is beautiful, and the rooms were lovely. The beds were especially comfortable. It is in the perfect location for looking around Cardiff - if you like shopping, you couldn't really be any closer to the shops.

Spotlessly clean, central location, right opposite the Motorpoint arena. One person on check in who was very slow, great breakfast. Very comfy beds in executive rooms, only downside is they only supply one robe, one pair of slippers and one bottle of water in a room for two people which I thought was very odd. Wouldn’t put me off going again though.

the room serivce can do more professional and good after clean the room. the body cleaning and shampoo need change and replace, not need customer to the lobby for request it. but the staff is very nice, helpful and kindly.

I stayed here to take part in the 2017 Cardiff marathon. The hotel was fine for my needs and facilities were good. Staff were always helpful every time I had interactions with them. However I would like to say that Ben from maintenance went above and beyond on sunday. I am a wheelchair racer and I got a puncture on the way to the start line. I thought my race was over so came back to the hotel. I asked if anyone could help and Ben managed to help me remove the punctured tyre, put on a new one, align it correctly and inflate it with just enough time to get me back out and to the start in time for the race. This is not an easy job and not many people who had never done this before would have managed, even under my instruction, so a a big thanks to Ben for getting me back in the race. I came in second place male racer as well so even better. Thanks Park Inn Cardiff.

The reason I have given this so low is the car park. It’s far too small, thanks to a metal pole being attached to a pillar I have now scratched side of my car. I went straight upstairs told them. Young lady was pleasant said she’d waiver parking, she hasn’t. The bedroom was okay small and comfortable. In morning went down to ask about car. The guy on reception basically blamed me and told me I should have seen pole. His attitude was terrible. I stayed there for Cardiff half. My car is only 3 years old. I’ve now emailed manager. If you stay there park next door in retail outlet.

We stayed one night at the Park Inn. We chose this hotel as of the ones available it had a car park and was centrally located. We loved the reception area which was cleverly designed to provide a contemporary feel by joining two original buildings and huge mirrors gave the effect of a much larger space. Our room was very clean and comfortable with a brand new bathroom which was spotless. If you sleep with the window open the noise from the traffic will wake you up early but this is a minor detail. There was an iron and ironing board which was very useful. Breakfast was buffet style in a contemporary dining area that had the feel of a canteen though we sat in a room adjoining this which overlooked the street. The waiters were friendly and attentive. When we checked out the guy on reception was very warm and friendly. Although this wasn't the cheapest hotel in Cardiff that night it was the only one available which was centrally located and had a car park. We would stay here again.
