No heating in bedroom on coldest night of the year at zero degrees. This issue with no heating has been going on for a few weeks. Given a bad room next to escalator with no privacy, lock on bedroom door broken can’t lock door with safety latch from inside. Bathroom very dated and old. No slippers in room. Below basic service won’t be staying at the Cardiff Marriott again.

Breakfast was average staff were lovely but there was guest in the dining area with their feet up on the chairs i do feel this was inappropriate but no staff approached the guest to ask them to please remove there feet. and the bed was very uncomfortable

The room was nice enough but it was a little warm, the air conditioning didn’t appear to be working. The bar staff in the evening were not good, 4 young lads laughing and joking and not really paying attention to the customers. One of them was more concerned in getting a phone number off a young girl than serving me. I put an amount of pre-authorisation on my card which I always do just to be told that wasn’t working so had to pay anyway. Then they told me my drink was on the bar, pointed to my cocktail that was placed in front of another customer, I had to ask him if he minded moving so I could get my drink. Then at breakfast was also another member of staff that didn’t represent you well. I hadn’t pre-booked my breakfast as the receptionist told me just to turn up if I wanted it. The person that greeted me was clearly annoyed that I hadn’t booked, shaking his head and complaining under his breath. Overall I think the staff here could do with some customer service training, I’d expect more from a brand like Mariott.
