We only stayed one night at the Inn at Depot Hill but it was a highlight of the trip. The inn was charming, quirky (in a good way), intimate and very comfortable. The location was perfect, only a few blocks from the beach and downtown (while far enough away to be quiet), and the staff very accommodating ...
Hotel was really good in general but my room was right infront of the pool so i could hear all the screaming from the pool at night time. Also, this hotel room can hear everything from the hall way i guess which mean they can hear you inside the room.
Our family of three stayed for two nights while visiting our niece at UCSC. While my husband took advantage of the comfortable desk to work several hours every day my young daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the small but pleasant pool and hot tub area. The room itself was clean and pleasant. Our room had two queen size beds that were very comfortable, great bathroom with separate bath tub and shower, and nice desk area. The only cons were the rather loud busy street which was noisy early in the morning and late into the evening. I wish that the room that had a table for eating at all though there was plenty of room to picnic on the floor. in the future I might ask for a room that is not facing the street. Otherwise the hotel was quiet clean and pleasant.
the hotel was very clean and the staff has very helpful.
The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Our room was not great - kind of what you'd expect at this kind of hotel, although our friend stayed in a different room at the same place that he said was significantly nicer, so it may just depend on the room. Good location - walkable to the beach & the town. Overall not a bad spot considering the prices around SC.
I would not stay again. As a last choice, I would only stay 1 night. TV did not work.
