A beautiful property and a good location, if only a little far from the fun stuff. I was warned in their email, that their office is only open from 8 AM to 5 PM, and then I need to communicate if I’m going to be late. My flight was delayed, and although I messaged hours before I arrived, I received no reply from the owner -for over a day. I showed up at about 7 PM, and could not reach anyone. I ended up sleeping in the back seat of my not large rental car outside of the property. FYI, you have to get up about every three hours, and drive with the windows down, because carbon dioxide builds up. NOT pleasant. All I needed was an a four digit code to a lock box embedded in the gate wall. It was never given. When I arrived, Maria, the very sweet and helpful woman who runs the on-site office, had no idea I was coming. After several days, the host finally replied. -no explanation, no apology. I was, however offered “credit for one day useful only at their property. Yippee. Looking at the reviews of this place, I can only guess that it has sold to a new owner, or that the owner has lost their desire to operate a business. All I can say is if you show up after five, bring a blanket and a pillow.
