One of the few places that didn't raise their prices for the eclipse. We had a pleasant stay, slept great, It was fun having breakfast with all the excited travelers getting ready to head out to see the eclipse.
Internet was the slowest experienced in years at motels. Outside advertisement said "Hot Breakfast" only hot thing was the unhealthy waffles - very misleading and disappointing.
Stayed one night on our way to Yellowstone. Wish we had picked a different hotel. The room was ok. Floors in room and hall ways very dirt and stained. The pool looks OK when you first glance in but once you swim to the other side it is going green and black. It was so dirty and slimy. When I told the front desk they said the growth was from that day even after I showed him the pictures and said to go look. The hot tub is in its own room but it is filthy. The smell coming from the water was sickening. Stepped in and the smell was so over powering of old stale dirty water we jumped straight into the shower. The pool bathroom was also filthy was the smell of urine and toilet paper every where. Breakfast was fine. They were out of coffee but quickly made it. The area is dirty and I went to get a straw for my coffee and the container was so full of bread crumbs and dirt the straws were dirty. I would not stay here.
I never received a copy of my bill. The office printer ran out of ink and no ink cartridge was available. I was told I would be emailed a bill but that did not happen either. I would like to have a copy mailed to me,
Soda machine in 3rd floor ate my money, when brought to front desk attention was told it's a known issue. Elevator sounded like it was ready to fall apart. AC in room barely worked.
The air was stagnant. We got too warm and my husband felt like he couldn't get enough air. He has not had any health issues. We worked to get the thermostat adjusted to make the room more comfortable, but still woke up feeling groggy and with a headache.
All the Hotels in Livingston and Bozeman were full because of beginning of college so we had to drive to Butte which was closer to our destination anyway.
On check in - we were assigned a room on the top floor at the far end of the building. Hauled all the luggage into the room and started to set up - only to find personal items belonging to another guest. Hauled all the luggage back down and found that we had been double booked in the room. They assigned us a new room - hauled the luggage back up and the keys didn't work. Hauled the luggage back and got new keys because the front desk would not answer the phone. Hauled it back up again and finally got settled in. Joanne was nice about it the next day and credited our account but they really could use another elevator closer to the rooms. Whew!
Got in late 12am and left by 6am so not a long stay. Rooms were decent. Breakfast was ok for continental just too small an eating area. Some had to stand to eat.
We were put in a room right next to one of the side entrances. It was about the size of a closet, barely room to walk around the bed. It was extremely hot and the front desk said we could open the window, which by the way was at the front parking lot and side door. Needless to say, we opted not to open the window. There was zero insulation to that room as we could hear people in and out of the hotel all night long even with the window shut. No refrigerators in the rooms. The coffee set up in the room had not been stocked from the night before. We went down to get some breakfast and all that they had was bread or cold cereal. The waffle station was down and we were told it would be 20 min before anyone could get to it. Needless to say we didn't get any breakfast. For $100/night room, I definitely expected much more for my money. I would not stay here again and will advise others not to stay here as well.
