Very nice hotel. Very clean, with huge rooms. Coffee, tea and cookies anytime! Nice breakfast. Very quiet even though its right off the interstate. I enjoyed the room after being on the road for many nights. I was a little disappointed that the wifi codes were a problem and the quality of sheets and quilts should have been better. Clean enough just not up to the $200 per night expectations that I have! I would certainly stay again.
Travelling back to Canada and stayed here for the second time. Awesome , friendly staff with a good recommendation for dinner and updated road report in the morning. Enjoyed both the pool and hot tub and great breakfast First class place
The Holiday Inn Express in Butte was a welcome retreat. This is a new hotel. Our room was clean and quiet. It offered a very nice breakfast. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. This was such a great visit that I really want to return to Butte and spend more time there. This is just a special place.
We arrived without a reservation and even though it was Friday we managed to get a room with a king size bed. The staff from check in to check out were pleasant and helpful. The room was nice and quiet, even with several kids groups being there, (we never heard them) the bed very comfortable, lots of pillow choices. The only thing stopping me from giving it a 5 star is its hard to park if you have a trailer etc. we will definitely stay here again.
It is a great hotel. Came on a band trip. My room didn't have a mini-fridge or microwave, which was disappointing, but all in all the rooms were very nice. One of the elevators was supposedly broken, yet they didn't put it out of order. The elevator trapped about ten of our group in there. All in all a great hotel. If I am ever in the area again, I will definitely stay there again
We stopped here to spend the night after leaving Bozeman too late. It was great! Very clean and quiet! The hot tub was not working while we were there, but the pool was open. The hotel is close to several eating establishments. The free breakfast was great.
Our one-bedroom suite (king suite with living area) was perfect for our two-night stay in Butte. The suite had a shotgun layout. From the hallway, we entered into the living area. On the far side of the living area, a kitchen area was on the left, and the bath and full-length mirror were on the right. The bedroom was beyond the bath and kitchen area. A door at the bedroom provided a good sound barrier when we were watching different programs on the two TVs. A comfortable king bed provided a good night’s sleep. Bedside tables flanked both sides of the bed. Across from the bed, a TV sat on top of a chest, and a mirror hung over a bench. The iron and board were in the closet which had ample hanging space. The bath had a wide vanity with single sink, plenty of fresh, thick towels, and a tub shower with curved curtain rod. The toilet had good flush power. Everything about the bath was clean and fresh. The kitchenette area had a convenient amount of counter space for a hotel room, a sink, mini-refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, and cabinetry. A few paper plates and plastic utensils were appreciated. Since we were traveling with a cooler and groceries, the kitchenette was a good space for preparing an easy meal or heating leftovers. We liked the size and comfort of the living room. A cushioned, upholstered sofa and chair were good for sitting and lounging and for sorting our clothing and supplies. A desk and task chair in the corner were handy for writing postcards and sorting papers. The TV had a good picture. It sat on the same type of chest as the TV in the bedroom. Each chest had three good sized drawers for storage. A coffee table and large closet completed the living area. The suite came with a higher price tag than a normal king room, but for a two-night stay in the middle of a long trip, the extra amenities and space were a comfort and a treat. Complimentary breakfast was provided each morning from 6:30 to 9:30. The variety of both hot and cold offerings gave us a great start to each day. Of course, our favorite part was the cinnamon rolls! We certainly recommend Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Butte. We would stay again.
I showed up late to breakfast. That did not stop the wonderful Alberta from staying there a little later to make sure I was fed. A truly incredible experience was made possible by her. I have to drive 600miles today and her service will go along way in helping that cause. Cheers Alberta!
This hotel saved us when our car brokedown outside of Butte, MT. Katelyn at the front desk was especially understanding and accommodating given our situation. The hotel is very clean, has a full free breakfast, and clean pool and hot tub. It's also in a great location, right on the bus line to Uptown and close to i-90, but it's not noisy. Thankful for this place and these people!
We stayed there two nights. The location is great, right off the freeway with easy access to the convention center and other Butte neighborhoods. The room was large with a good sized bathroom with a large shower, no tub. We thought there was going to be a refrigerator and microwave, but it was not that important this time, since we could keep our cooler in the truck in the cold winter weather. If we stay there again, we would ask for a room that had those ammenities. The bed was comfortable, the linens clean and the room was quiet. We had a room on the fourth floor, facing away from the freeway. We did not use the pool area or fitness gym, but the breakfast room was very nice and a good, but typical hotel breakfast.
