After reading all the negative reviews, we were hesitant about staying at this Super 8. However, once we checked in, we were pleasantly surprised. We had a corner double-bed suite on the third floor, and it was probably the largest hotel room we’ve ever stayed in. While the hotel is older and not spotless, it was clean enough for a comfortable stay. Contrary to previous reviews, we noticed no unpleasant odors—our room smelled fresh, and the rest of the hotel was the same. Some reviewers mentioned things being out of order, but during our stay, everything worked fine: the ice machine, in-room refrigerator, pancake maker, and especially the air conditioner, which kept the room cool and comfortable. Considering the price and other options in Butte, this stay offered solid value. The only downside was the very limited breakfast—no hot items or fruit. If they expanded the breakfast selection, this place would be hard to beat for the price.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. There was a little girl in the lobby who was all bruised up and covered in dirt, peeing on the floor when we arrived. Got to our room and I have never smelled that much pee in my life. The room REEKED of pee. We had our 9 month old with us and there was NO WAY that room was sanitary. Immediately went down stairs and told the desk. They wouldn't refund our money. We left and went to a different hotel. Absolutely disgusting. No idea how this place has such good reviews. Save yourself and $200.

No tv remote and room phone was not working to call the front. Called hotel with my own phone and was on hold for several minutes. Informed then of the remote issue and was told they can’t do anything about it. I kindly expressed my displeasure and they said they would get skills off the manager and get back to me. It’s been over an hour and have heard nothing. Doubt they will address the issue with me tonight. Left a message through Expedia but it says they may not get back to me for a day or two. I’m only staying one night, so that’s no help as well.
