Loved the history and character. Staff was friendly and helpful and the location was great. Wish the room had air conditioning as it was hot and stuffy even with the fan. Would definitely recommend.

Would have liked pastries in the morning. Difficult to climb up the stairs for Coffee. Need to have a carafe if coffee on main floor.

Furnishings Way below this price point. Room was dark and very old fashioned.

Very clean and a fun experience. The hotel is not a modern box and because of that there is a lot of charm you won’t get in a new hotel. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Like everyone in Butte, the staff went out of their way to be helpful.

Our rooms on our second floor have air conditioning. Not sure what room you were in, possibly one on the 1st floor? The 1st floor rooms normally stay pretty cool but we are working on getting A/C in our first floor rooms for the months of July and August. Thank you for your review.

We do provide coffee on our ground floor. We would have been happy to assist you. We encourage people to explore the uptown area for the many great breakfast places just outside the hotel. Thank you for your review.

Our hotel has been open for 3 years and all of our furniture, from the beds to the couches were brand new at that point. Being a historic hotel, the furnishings we have were meant to match the rooms but I can assure you they are not old. If you felt your room was too dark we would have gladly moved you to another room if you had asked.
