Located in the Jewish district close to the bar strip. Relatively large rooms with fresh toilets and showers. Small tv and no fridge or iron, other than that I'm very satisfied with my stay. The staff is friendly and helpful. Would stay here again if I wanted a good budget hotel.
We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. All rooms are pretty and well maintained. The location is very good, right on the metro 2 station. Plenty of bars and restaurants are available in walking distance. Highly recommended!
Very well located hotel. Not at all far from anything central and easy to reach from the airport. Amenities very much as expected and what is required. Staff more than happy to provide ice during our stay
Checked in quite late - very quick and friendly service from Reception. Room very clean and spacious. Perfect location, close to metro and restaurants/bars but still quiet enough so you don't hear traffic etc Very good price. Will definitely book here if I ever visit Budapest again.
I stayed here from February 11th to 12th as part of a large group observing inspirational music education in Hungarian schools. The hotel is very conveniently situated near to Blaha Lujza Tér transport links and we bought 7-day travel passes at the airport which covered tram, buses and metro for the entire stay. This included the 200E bus to and from the airport (although the metro 3 line was closed both Sundays - but the replacement bus was easy to find). The hotel is clean, bright and modern inside and the reception staff are friendly and very helpful - there is also a small 24-hour bar in the lobby with comfortable seats and this was a great place to sit and chat and catch up with friends. My room was quiet and spacious with a very comfy double bed and table-top area thoughtfully provided with a multi-plug cube - there is free WiFi throughout the hotel. The bathroom was spotlessly clean with a great shower - and a hairdryer. At breakfast time there was a really good range of hot and cold food ranging from porridge to traditional Hungarian. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to friends. Thank you for a lovely stay in Budapest!
Fantastic location for city centre and other attractions, staff absolutely fantastic throughout. Lovely breakfast and great bar prices. Celebrating my birthday with my daughter and son-in-law, when we came back to our room there was a bottle of wine and a 'best wishes from the team at the hotel'.Thank you Barbara - reception We have never met more friendly staff in whilst on holiday! If we do return to Budapest it will definitely be to this hotel. Highly recommended!!!
I stayed here for a weekend with a group of friends. We all thought that the hotel represented excellent value for money. On arrival, the staff were all extremely friendly, and were quite happy to share recommendations of where to go in the city. We visited during the winter so the weather was quite cold, but the rooms and common areas were kept nice and warm. Can't fault the location - close to many restaurants, inlcuding some more authentic Hungarian places which we would recommend seeking out as opposed to just sticking with more touristy options. No issues at all with noise. We stayed at the rear of the hotel.
Considering the price for a night, the hotel almost get 5 stars. Everything was great the staff, bed, room etc. The only major drawback of this hotel is that its close to a big road and a noisy bar street. Didnt get any sleep the first night so we spoke with the reception and they then got us a room on the quiet side. I would say 50 % of their rooms is on the quiet side, and 50% on the noisy side.
Attended a conference downtown and this stay saved me some budget as it was in the walking distance. Quality materials, well maintained and clean property, excellent service. Used the miniBud for the transfer, reccommendabler.
Family holidays in a lovely place. Excellent accommodation and location. Qualified staff and requests. Lots of culture and history. Only one negative point: restaurant service. They always want you to be brief in permanence
