Fantastic location for city centre and other attractions, staff absolutely fantastic throughout. Lovely breakfast and great bar prices. Celebrating my birthday with my daughter and son-in-law, when we came back to our room there was a bottle of wine and a 'best wishes from the team at the hotel'.Thank you Barbara - reception We have never met more friendly staff in whilst on holiday! If we do return to Budapest it will definitely be to this hotel. Highly recommended!!!
I stayed here for a weekend with a group of friends. We all thought that the hotel represented excellent value for money. On arrival, the staff were all extremely friendly, and were quite happy to share recommendations of where to go in the city. We visited during the winter so the weather was quite cold, but the rooms and common areas were kept nice and warm. Can't fault the location - close to many restaurants, inlcuding some more authentic Hungarian places which we would recommend seeking out as opposed to just sticking with more touristy options. No issues at all with noise. We stayed at the rear of the hotel.
Considering the price for a night, the hotel almost get 5 stars. Everything was great the staff, bed, room etc. The only major drawback of this hotel is that its close to a big road and a noisy bar street. Didnt get any sleep the first night so we spoke with the reception and they then got us a room on the quiet side. I would say 50 % of their rooms is on the quiet side, and 50% on the noisy side.
Attended a conference downtown and this stay saved me some budget as it was in the walking distance. Quality materials, well maintained and clean property, excellent service. Used the miniBud for the transfer, reccommendabler.
Family holidays in a lovely place. Excellent accommodation and location. Qualified staff and requests. Lots of culture and history. Only one negative point: restaurant service. They always want you to be brief in permanence
Stayed during christmas which is off-season in Budapest. However, hotel perfectly located for restaurants and transport. Guess rooms facing the street will be noisy during highseason. Rooms as expected. Wifi very good. Avoid breakfast if it cost ekstra. Lots of good breakfast options within 50m.
Great hotel, easy to reach from the airport, ideal for public transport. The rooms are , spacious and serviced every day. The continental breakfast fills you up for the day . you are then ready to explore this great city. The front of house staff are great really friendly and very helpful offering advice and tips when you ask for them.
This hotel is well located close to some bars and restaurants, although everything is fairly spread out in Budapest so you will have to do some walking to see the places of interest (unless you use the hop on, hop off bus service). The hotel itself is well presented and clean, and rooms are spacious. We had a very comfortable bed. Safety deposit boxes are available in a room behind reception, with the receptionist retaining one of the keys required to unlock the safe. This is my only slight quarm because it meant we had to ask every time we wanted access to our belongings in the safety deposit box. Breakfast is included but don't plan your day around it - there's a coffee machine, cereal, pastries, continental-style ham and cheese, toast, scrambled eggs and beans. It was free so nothing to complain about, but would have expected a better range had we paid for it. The staff were always welcoming and friendly and we enjoyed our stay here.
We had a fantasic time at the hotel. There was a new member of staff when we arrived. I think her name was Tamera (if this isn't right I am sorry) she was very friendly and helpful the whole stay even though she was new. The rest of the staff were great aswell. Fab location... When we eventually worked out where we were as we are rubbish with direction. The breakfast was good for a continental. They are doing a programme were if you don't want your rooms cleaned you can get a free drink. We took them up on this offer and enjoyed 4 lovely pints as we were only there a few days and don't mind doing our little part in saving the planet haha. Overall fantastic experience
It has been a good choice. I would recommend it due to its price/quality. I paid 60€/night for 1 person in November. Pros: - Nice location if you do not mind to walk 20/25 minutes. It is not exactly in the city center, but it is between the Heroes Square and the Cathedral. - Clean and wide rooms. - No noises at night. Cons: - It is not a five stars, there is no luxury: the TV is small, none bathroom complements, etc. - The beds have average quality, nor comfortable or uncomfortable.
