picture other no real other this hotel is sooo bad. i womt to take my money back. this hotel bathroom so bad. and bathroom yes very bad scent (smell), no bathrum soap, no shampoon, no shower gell, no bath shoes, no toothpaste, no toothbrush, no no no so bad. and room clock dont work. all of bad.

The hotel is within 10 mins by bus 78 from main railway station which is the main reason for me choosing it as I have to take early trains. It is very close to a metro as well and you can actually walk to some tourist sights. There is no lift which means you have to carry the luggage up the stairs. The breakfast us poor with no cereals and the bread appears to be from the day before and this is unacceptable as bread is very cheap in Budapest and there is a bakery which opens at 6pm just round the corner. Staff service below average too.

It was very dirty hotel. Thin walls, audibility is very good. The first time we went into the room, we had dirty bed linen. upon our request, linen was changed. Good location, near by first metro line

The worst hotel we visited in our life. Quilts with blood, spiders and spider webs on the roof, bad general cleaning, without heating, crappy breakfast, etc... I hope I will not find another similar hotel in my life.

The only reason i stayed at this hotel it was that i didn't had other choice. So, i had a reservation on booking for CENTRAL SILVER HOTEL BUDAPEST. When i got there, surprise! They said i don't have any reservation so...i have to leave, or, if i cancel my reservation from my booking account (because i had an active reservation on my account for Central Silver Hotel Budapest, but the hotel staff said they didn't received anything from booking regarding my reservation) they can arrange my stay at Central Green Hotel. They told me it is the same owner, same business. It was December 30th 2016 8:30 pm. So I said OK. I got here by taxi, free of charge. Indeed, it is very close to a metro station and at 2.5km far from the Parliament, but the conditions are poor. The receptionist gave me the key, so i had a chance to see the room before i agree to stay here. First room, freshly renovated, fresh paint, a strong smell of paint, so i had to decline it. The second room (and the last option, it was the last free room beside the paint smelly one) was dirty, not vacuum cleaned, bed sheets were used and smelly. I had to accept it, it was my very last option. Next day my bed sheets were changed, but the house keeping took a look on my luggages (i knew it because, in every hotel I stay, i leave marks in my luggage and inside of it, every day). Breakfast was poor, but fresh. No vegetables, no tomato or cucumber. Just bread, ham, butter, some strawberry jelly and a greasy scrambled eggs. But the apple juice was good. Make sure if you want to stay here to take some shampoo, slippers, ear picks etc, because, beside the toilet paper, you won't get anything. The furniture is not so old, but it is very cheap and used, also the carpet had some stains in my room. Totally NO for this hotel! So watch out! PS. Ultra thin walls! So....if there will be a mosquito in the room next to'll hear it!

Location is easy to find, a few minutes walk from Kodaly Korond Metro Station. Walking into the city centre takes about 25-30 minutes. When first arrived, we asked the reception if there was any good restaurants around the hotel. The reception recommended - "There's burger king, or macdonalds round the corner. I don't know about you, but I like fast food." Wow. Booked a double bed room, however got 2 single beds instead, and it was not even side by side. Walls were very thin, you could hear the neighbouring rooms showering (and woke me up many times in the middle of the night). To get to the room, you've to walked outdoors in the cold, in a dirty and dusty construction site. Room lights were dim. Internet was very bad. Most of the time it was not working. Breakfast was sufficient - hotdogs, eggs, hams, cheese and toast. Tea, coffee and juices were available too. There was always enough food, as they top up as soon as there were more people. Long breakfast hours (7am to 10am) was good. It was a 24hours reception. However, you had to turn in your room keys to the reception each time you headed out. And I was a bit skeptical as they did not verify your room when you return, and it seemed like anyone could "claim" your key and enter your room whenever. Reception was nice to print our boarding passes for us, and allowed us to store our luggages after check out for the day. For the price, I would recommend to budget travellers only.

We had our summer vacation in this hotel for a week. The location is not in the central as they say. You still need to walk about 2 kms to reach the city center. There is Lidt supermarket at the corner near the hotel and have pizzashops also near by but food is awful not worth your money. The hotel, i was surprised when we first came in to the hotel because all rooms have no airconditions it was quite warm because it was sunmer and we find it hard to sleep during the night. And the bad thing is the hotel NEVER TELL in their website that there is NO AIRCON at all in ALL THERE HOTEL ROOMS. There was electric fan in our room but still its too warm. There are times during the day that we wanted to go back to our hotel to take some rest but we just can't because our hotel room is too warm not good to stay during the day to have some rest. The breakfast wasn't that good also because it's all the same all the time and it was not the right breakfast that we can call it. Breakfast every morning consist of hotdogs, bread, scrambled egg and for drinks coffee og juice. During our entire one week stay in this hotel our beddings and towels were never changed, no toilet articles like soap etc you have to buy it yourself. And during our stay also the small refrigerator in our room don't work and we tell it to the receptions bout 3 times to have it changed or repair it, they always say they will do but it never happened so overall it wasnt a good place to stay primary because of no aircon only electric fan, fridge not working, walls are too thin you can hear what the people in the other rooms are doing, no room cleaning and change of towels or bedsheets and location not central.

The central green hotel is a small decent hotel in the center of Budapest. Walking distance from pretty much everything. It was quiet, and we liked the fact that the reception is open 24/7. Decent rooms and breakfast OK

Very dissapointed with everything. Quite a walk out of town so not central. Threadbare nylon bed sheet, 1 blanket no duvet, no toiletries 1 threadbare towel for 2 of us. Dark corridors with no lights. Old telly with no english channels. Breakfast was Yuk ! few lukewarm scrambled egg and sausages, basic bread and marg, cheap jam. no fruit juice on 2 of 3 days and the other day had some watered down apple juice. That was it. Window view out onto a wall. Broken lamps not working in room. Horrible tired decor didnt feel clean at all. Definately avoid this place. PS. Budapest was lovely city well worth a visit but dont stay here.

I stayed in this hotel while I was inter-railing with some friends. Staying in this hotel really tainted my view of Budapest. The hotel room was a glorified sweat box, it was hotter in our room than it was outside. There was no air conditioning, instead we were given a fan that sounded like a sick lawnmower resulting in none of us getting any sleep. The windows in our room were facing out into the corridor which meant you couldn't really open the windows without people looking in as they walked past. On one of the windows, there was a board instead of a curtain. Or rather there was half a board, so you could see right into the room from the corridor. There was no fan in the bathroom which had a moldy smell in it, I can only assume this is because the bathroom was damp and the steam from the shower couldn't escape. Both my friend and I got eaten alive by what we thought was mosquitoes but on the last night we discovered the room was infested with ants!! The wifi only worked now and again. The breakfast was okay-ish. Frankfurters, eggs and some cold cheeses and hams. All in all, I would not return to this establishment and I would not recommend it. We did complain to the staff about the air conditioning or lack of it. Their solution was to open the windows out into the hall which didn't make much difference and exposed to anyone who happened to walk past.
