Comfortable enough and affordable. Breakfast quite a free-for-all but OK. However checkout was awful; took about 30 minutes to get to the front of the queue. That said, I believe this hotel is about to close, so it may not be a relevant review for much longer!
I really recommend this hotel, the location is only 10 minutes walk from Brussel Nord station. The neighborhood is quiet one but near a market. The room is big and the bed is really comfortable not to mention that they are clean. Although this is not a new hotel, but their maintenance is good.
Myself and my partner visited Brussels recently and stayed at this fabulous hotel. The room was huge and the bed was massive. Plenty of space, although we weren't particularly close to the centre it was a nice walk and plenty to see. The hotel was decent and we would stay again, conveniently located near the rail station and a local mini market. Fab !!
Second stay. Never again. We had dinner at the City Center. We wanted to have a cocktail at the hotel bar at 10 pm. Bar closed on easter sunday night. What a lousy experience. Work around was a canned beer from the vending mashine. Besides a double room booked we had to ask for a second towel. Not to mention the environment where you find riff raff living quarters just a Block away.
We stayed in a double room with a king size bed. The room was very comfortable and clean. The bathroom too. They changed the towels every day and clean the room. They even had a promotion, you received something from the bar if you refused one day of cleaning to make some economies. The garden of the hotel is very big, beautifull and well taken care of. The only bad thing was that there were no netts at the window and we got very bitten by the mosquitos...
Price 144 Euro/night Rooms in very poor condition. Bath is like in der 50s Beds old an uncomfortable Never again This hotel needs reformation to come back to the normal standard of business hotels in brussels Taxi 50 Euro to the airport; normal price 35 - a no go
Without a doubt the worst hotel I've been to in Brussels. Expensive for the services it provides. The breakfast buffet of very poor quality Sometimes there were bad odors, I guess for the facilities. The best, the waiters and the cleaning ladies I do not return definitively
I had a lovely stay wonderful staff. Great room a great Nespresso type coffee machine in room supplied lots of coffee which I love. A great breakfast spotless hotel. Only problem a bit away from restraints and shops.
The hotel is well established just on the edge of the office region (about 1 km from train station) The breakfast is fine with large variety of choices. My room was comfortable and nicely decorated. The staff were helpful when asked for assistance. In the evening the area is a little remote and other restaurants are about 1 km away but the hotel is a fine break out place for a city discovery.
I would really like to give this hotel more stars but the staff ruined the whole experience. In the first day. we visited the front desk to ask for directions to the train-metro station. The gentleman at the reception seemed extremely nervous and could not answer the question. And then, the woman with long blonde hair literally pushed him away, grabbed his pen and started to talk to us aggressively in FRENCH! I asked her to talk to me in English (Should I have?). My husband and I felt really unwelcome by her attitude. Honestly, she was unable to just share a piece of information as she consumed her energy being angry and ironic (with no obvious reason as it was the very first encounter we had with her). We ended up saying that we do not need any further information as she was extremely rude and gave us an attitude. We never visited the reception for information eversince. We asked the locals or our drivers or google for infomartion concerning the city. The hotel management should take into serious consideration incidents like this. People travel to meet different people, observe other ethics and manners, learn more about history and architecture, comprehend other cultures. The first impression is given by the hotel hosts and not by the buildings. Is this the impression you want to give your guests?? I will never choose this hotel again as the service is below average and the staff knows how to make their guests feel unwelcome and annoying.
