We Visited this hotel with my husband and 3yrs old child. What a disgrace this hotel is!! No room service, restaurant only open until 3pm weekdays and closed all weekend. Just vending machine available on top of that our room fridge wasnt working, we informed them and they looked at the fridge and confirmed it wasnt working but didn't replace it. The area isn't safe and hotel car park is a rip off! Hotel staff very unhelpful. Big disappointment!!
Outside the Hotel is nice. Inside the reception is hospitable, the staff is nice and available. We spoke with them english without any problem. Check in and check out fast and simple. The restaurant is available from monday to friday and this could be a problem. We had dinner there, they do not have too much for vegetarian; I took veggie burger, not really special but good. They have a lot of beers. Price is normal. Parking in the garage is available but it's a bit expensive (maybe because the district doesn't look like too safe). Our room was simple, double bed, one desk, a couple of chairs, mini-bar, coffee machine. Bathroom with bathtub (with shower). The room was spacious and clean (also the Hotel looks like clean). It was not too much noisy. Free wi fi with a good line. The price is normal for this type of hotel. 7 minutes by walk to reach the metro station in which you can buy tickets for tram, metro and bus. And with the metro is easy to reach the center of Brussel (just in 5 minutes, 3 stops). Overall a good solution if you need an hotel not too far from the center and from the public transport.
Well positioned for people attending conferences in the Tour & Taxis center which is within walking distance. Not very convenient for visiting the city center though. Nice rooms, interesting restaurant and bar, efficient service.
This hotel was not one of my first priorities but finally it was a pleasant surprise. Within a walking distance from the North Station of Brussels it has easy access with the airport and from there you can connect with the city centre with a tram. The room was very spacious and clean and its breakfast has one of the best buffet I have ever tried.
good hotel, located in a place far away from the tourist area which is not convinient in terms of logistics if you plan to explore the city the room was good and confortable, people at the front desk friendly and helpfull and the breakfast is excelent menu for dinner doesnt have too many options if you plan to stay
Nice room with a comfortable bed and a coffee machine. The breakfast room, however, was so small and crowded that it was impossible to enjoy the breakfasts. Bureaucracy in the reception desk as I have never seen before.
The hotel is like walking back in time. Clearly it has not been updated since the 1980’s. The beds are impressively thin mattress but not impressive in a good way. The internet is good though so they have at least caught up on that front. The check in experience was slow and unfriendly and the restaurant is average at best.
As I write in the title the hotel is more than ok, but although I have been here many times, I do not feel comfortable in the room. This is due to a mix of old fashion style rooms, beds, bathrooms as well as to the cleaning of the room itself. I find the rooms not really clean and the empty spaces, they have inside, increase this feeling. It is only my feeling or not up to you to decide. A plus is the breakfast that is really good.
Apparently the Husa has recently been refurbished. That seems to show. First I enjoyed my stay. The staff were polite and helpful. The lobby, rooms and restaurant were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was extensive. However there were some start up niggles. My room key didn't work meaning I had to go back down 4 flights. The Wi-Fi in the room was variable - the further your room from the lift the worse the signal. And the lift doors misbehaved. They tried shutting at least 10 times before finally doing so. There was also a broken pane of glass at the front reception area. Not the best image. But I think these are teething problems. The location is good. 1.3 miles to the Grand Place. The nearest metro stop Rogier is a hike but Brussels isn't the biggest city. Well worth a stay I think...
My Wife and I stayed here for a night and found the hotel to very comfortable, service was excellent and the rooms and bed were very comfortable. If we go back to Brussels we will be staying here again.
