The description of this hotel on the travel booking website claims the following (copied and pasted from the site): The Rodeway Inn offers a complimentary deluxe continental breakfast every morning, high speed wireless access throughout the hotel at additional usage charges, live entertainment and dancing Thurs-Sat at the Carlton Lounge and billiard area on site. Our rooms offer coffee makers, iron and ironing board, and hair dryer. We are under new ownership and well on our way to becoming Brockton's number One hotel. Pet accommodation: 25.00 USD per pet, per night. Pet must be kenneled when unattended. Upon trying to check in, the front desk clerk argued with us that we did not have a reservation. This was followed by him arguing that we had to pay for the room with him even though we paid through a travel booking website and had already paid. The room was filthy and had one working light making it very dark inside. The window was broken and duct-taped, there was no breakfast, no iron or ironing board, no coffee maker, and no hairdryer in the room. In fact, we did not have hot water. The water wasn't just cool...it was ice cold! When we told the person at the desk we were told we would get a comp on our room for one of the nights. When we checked out, we were told we would get a 10 discount instead. We received the email today confirming this refund, it was 2/3 of what we were told. The room was so dirty and broken that we took pictures upon checking in just in case we were blamed for any of the damages in the room. We would have asked to switch rooms, but were told there weren't any available. Any booking website that lists this hotel really needs to visit it and consider whether to continue doing business with them. The description was a lie. We were very nice to the people at the front desk, but only two were friendly toward us. We have stayed at one-star hotels before, but they were nothing like this! It is not our style to complain, but this was so far off from what was advertised that we felt we had to say something to save others from a similar experience.
