Room was clean and comfortable only thing wrong was the fridge it was not plugged in and there was no receptacle near by. It is easy to find, right off interstate 79. a work out center right next store that you have access to. A lot of places to eat near by. Breakfast was ok
This Sleep Inn is located right off the Interstate and within close driving distance to many dining options. Upon arrival, it took a while for the front desk staff member to acknowledge me and put down their phone. After that, I was checked in quickly. There were only second floor rooms left and there was no elevator. No problem for me, but a large family or someone with mobility limitations should make sure to request a lower level room. The public areas, especially the carpet looked to need some help. The room was clean and had all the basic equipment as well as a microwave and mini fridge. Everything was clean and comfortable. Analog air unit under the window. It was quiet. In fact, the room was very quiet. No traffic noise. The shower was a stand up pod with no tub. The sink was outside the bathroom. The complimentary breakfast had a nice variety of cold and hot foods. Choice hotel breakfasts are all similar from hotel to hotel. Decent hotel, highly trafficked, would stay again on my way through.
Room is very small. Clean but small. Hotel could use some new carpet. Staff was friendly. Good breakfast. Didn't use the pool which is next door in a gym so can't review that. There is laundry which came in handy for baseball tournament. Detergent dispenser was out of order so went next door to Walgreens. Close to shopping. Med Express right across the road. Good price.
I stayed there while attending some training in nearby Shinnston. The hotel itself was pretty nice. The room, while on the small side, was fine since it was just me. I had to maneuver around the bed and chair to get to the AC. Other than room size, I liked the place. The breakfast was hot and plentiful. On the first day, they had sausage gravy, which I like, no matter... They have an arrangement with a 24 hour gym right next door. The gym has a pool, a steam room, and a dry sauna. They also have a huge hot tub which was Luke warm and not working during my stay. Either way, it'd been a while since I did the dry, wet, swim, repeat... all included in the cost of the room. The hotel has microwaves in the rooms as has vending machines that sell small meals that you can nuke. The second night, a big rig parked on the street right outside my room. I endured the cycling of the truck's engine throughout the night. Luckily I had a few drinks which made falling asleep a little easier. If you get your room key, there's a restaurant right next door (the name escapes me at the moment) that'll dive you a 10% discount for staying at the hotel. I hadn't checked in yet but showing the cashier my reservation got me the discount. All in all, I had a good stay. I'd stay there again, but next time I'd want a quieter room in the back, away from the street.
excellent hotel for value. Great breakfast included. Room was neat and clean. Location had a number of restaurants in area to visit. Desk clerk was very professional and courteous. we will be staying in other Sleep Inn's in the future.
This is a small place and just enough to lay your head as you travel the long roads up and down the USA. Riding through 5 states I was good wherever I stayed and this location was selected by a family member and you always want to stay together with family. The rooms have a oak, white, orange pattern/look to them, you can tell the hotel has done some redecorating and upgrades. Small town feel in a hotel, breakfast was interesting with sausage wrapped in a pancake, ham, egg and muffins, and a boil egg...you can't go wrong with a boil egg! A few technical check in difficulties but that got resolved in a way you witness the a warm and friendly exchange of what could be the problem only to resolve it together. Something I hope to see on a day to day basis out and about.
Ok getting to the hotel was half the problems. As you can see from the review the address is Bridgeport.WV but putting that into the GPS brings you into a field and took down a one lane road that was unsafe for vehicles and might I add it was raining and dark . Thank goodness I had cell service to contact the hotel and advised I was trying to find the hotel and GPS had brought me to a field and she started laughing and said that I wanted to put Clarksburg in the city not Bridgeport.. She advised it happens all the time. Well if it happens all the time then put something on your Hotel's web page or put directions off of I79 so it doesnt happen again and to someone that could wreck on this road , Once we finally got to the hotel the hotel was what I expected clean and a place to spend the night. We didnt eat breakfast in the morning but it did smell good. PLEASE someone put something about the address so hopefully this doesnt happen to anyone else.
We stopped in while traveling to Meadsville, Pa. to see our Granddaughter. The staff welcome us with a smile. Room was clean, beds slept great. Will remember this place when we come back thru from N.C.
We stayed here for a baseball tournament weekend. It is a smaller, somewhat older hotel, but it's clean and the staff is very courteous and helpful. We had a double room (2 double beds). The room is smaller. The room had been updated. My only complaint, if you even call it a 'complaint' was that the carpet was older and will probably need replaced soon. The beds were nice, comfortable and the bedding was updated. The bathroom had a pocket door with an enclosed toilet and shower (no tub). The vanity and sink were outside of the door. All looked like they had been updated. We had a small refrigerator in our room. We also had a flat screen TV. The air conditioning was very cold (just the way I like it!). There is no pool on site but they give you passes to the 24 hour gym next door. It's just a 1 minute walk across the parking lot. They have a nice pool, 2 hot tubs, a sauna and steam room. We had a lot of fun there with the kids. The continental breakfast was ok. It was free and got our bellies full. They had a waffle iron, toast, oatmeal, juices, milk. One morning they had ham and hard boiled eggs. One morning they had the pancake/sausage sticks and Canadian bacon. The breakfast area was clean and there was staff constantly refilling and wiping off counters, etc. There were a couple little league teams staying there so breakfast time was pretty crowded and we never ran out of food. All in all, it was a great hotel for a great price and very convenient to shopping and restaurants.
I found the Bridgeport Sleep Inn to be an above average property. Although very busy, as indicated by a full parking lot upon my late arrival, to the friendly and efficient front desk person, everything was as it should be. The room was bit tight with a king bed, but exceptionally clean and comfortable. Despite the highly occupied premises, no noise was heard at any time. Morning breakfast was standard fare, eggs, bacon, and sausage., along with a selection of cold cereal, breads and pastries. If in need of overnight accommodation in the Bridgeport WV area, this Sleep Inn is worthy of consideration; it is a good value.
