The room was clean and decdng. It was a non smoking room but had an odor, old or smoke smell not sure which one. Everything else ok.

For the money it was okay. There was a red spot on a towel that appeared to be blood but we weren't sure. The toilet was not anchored to the floor. The tub faucet was not anchored, it moved freely. The mattress and pillows were uncomfortable, it felt as if we were sleeping on the floor in a sleeping bag. The bathroom door stuck each time it was opened/closed. But the staff was very friendly and courteous, the A/C worked well, we didn't hear any noise from other rooms.

Heat did not work in our room in the middle of November!! The thermometer read 58 degrees. I contacted the office about the issue and they said they did not have any other rooms since it was the night of a WVU game. They did not offer a refund, nor an alternative for a different hotel. They only took off 10 off the room when we checked out the following morning. Pityful!

The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Located around shopping and places to eat. Room was kind of small for the price I payed. No breakfast but theres a Bob Evans across the street. Alot of pipeline people stay there but not loud and people I interacted with were very polite.

We spent a night here following a WVU evening football game. It was nice to be away from the Morgantown hustle and bustle while also getting a hotel directly off the interstate. Front desk was especially efficient and friendly during check in. Only negative is the double beds are very small and the pillows were flat. But it was worth the nightly rate we paid considering most hotels double their price on game days.

If you're looking for a nice basic place to spend a night this is the hotel. I only stayed one night, the staff was very nice, room was very clean, the air conditioner was a litte loud but not bad. The hotel was full but it stayed quiet, I never heard other guests talking or tvs playing.

The Red Roof hotel in Fairmont, WV has been remodeled fairly recently. I got the king room, it was fine, had a big screen TV that worked well. Plenty of room, free WIFI. Unfortunately the clientele is all over the map, a lot of smokers, and it was clear that some had been smoking just outside the room, possibly with the door open, and even though the rooms are supposed to be smoke free, I could still detect cigarette smoke odor, which really disturbs me. If you stop in, there is a very good Italian restaurant named Murial's on the Tygart River about 1 mile from the hotel, strongly recommended, much better than the chain restaurants, reasonable price, you can get a cocktail there. I had the surf and turf, excellent steak, very good salad.

Very comfortable room. The staff was friendly. The location was fantastic . My only negative was the room had a few cobwebs and no breakfast was offered. Otherwise we really enjoyed it.

First time I stayed at a Red Roof inn in years. They've put some money into the rooms - big TVs, nice big new beds. Fridge and microwave. Only gripe was the shower - could not get anything more than lukewarm water.

The room was not cleaned well..trash was not taken out the entire stay....

Carpet needed vacuumed really good when we arrived and even more so when we checked out. Everything else was pretty clean. We were also charged for a safe daily but we never asked for the code at the desk in order to use the safe.

We stayed in this hotel overnight on over drive back home. Although it's close to the highway, it was not noisy. The strange thing was that the sink is not in the bathroom, but outside. Otherwise, it was perfect for our purposes.

Close to eating/shopping, easy access to interstate, clean room, and microwave/frig in room. Fresh coffee was in lobby w/a friendly staff-everything I needed to refresh from a long drive :-) Thanks Red Roof Inn

Nice stay. Very convenient. Clean and comfortable and not bad for the price, but stayed at a place on the return trip that was just as nice for about $30.00 less. For this price breakfast should have been included. They had only coffee in the morning, but I will say it was great coffee.

room was very comfortable ,clean and what I needed for two nights. felt safe staying by my self.Very afordable .Location was close to any place you would want to eat.shop. gas . Very nice for the price.

good place for a good price would reccommend for others

We stayed for two nights with 2 couples. The room was clean, the room was quiet. It was an average stay. Nothing extraordinary. The issues we encountered were: the door was loose and air could pass through the seal and door but we did not freeze the heat was sufficient; we only had two towels and had to call for more; be sure to bring your personals soap shampoo conditioner and hairdryer as you only get one small soap and one small sample of shampoo for your stay. Otherwise no problem with the room. Good price for the stay.

The carpet was stained and not at all clean. Towels and sheets had hair all through them. A whole swarm of gnats were flying around constantly. I killed about 10 but there were still more. The bath tub didn't drain very well. A 10 minute shower left me standing in 5 inches of water. The shower curtain was 2 inches short of reaching the tub. When taking a shower, the curtain got sucked in and was a constant nuisance because it sticks to you. Since it was about 6 inches too short of the proper length, the bathroom floor was sprayed with probably a gallon or more of water. There were dirty spots near the sink that were a brownish color. I wiped them off easily with a towel, so why were they not cleaned off before I arrived? Just a dirty dump of a red roof inn.....

Very helpful at check in, friendly staff, not much being spent on upkeep.

It wasn't actually a trip to the Red Roof. We were traveling to the North, from the South. This was our 3rd. night on the road.
