Good place to stay
It was close to WV university. I was there for a marathon, so it was within half a mile to the starting line at the Coliseum
After being out all day, we returned and our room wasn’t cleaned. They took our towels but didn’t empty the garbage, make the beds or bring us new towels. I called down to the main desk and they told me that they were understaffed . I requested that they bring up towels but they never did! They new that it was move in day and the hotel was sold out, they should have hired more staff!
It smelled like mold and the carpet stayed wet. Beds was uncomfortable. Very noisy and people sitting around outside drinking at all hours
We enjoyed the breakfast with your stay. We enjoyed the swimming pool. I enjoyed the location of this facility.
Wasn’t terrible but probably a one time stay. Not a big fan of the smokers right as you walk out the doors and the creepy guy in the back of the hotel.
Stay there every trip to Buffalo no reason to go else where
It was a very nice place to stay at. The staff at the front desk was very friendly. The room was very clean.
I would not describe this place as a 3-star hotel. More like a 2 star but was a good balance of affordability to amenities. It is mostly occupied by local mining and oil employees so not always in the best shape because they tend to be a little rough. Mattress was really firm which works for me but may not be for everybody. However, they do have a good hot breakfast to start off your day with biscuits and gravy, sausage, eggs, etc...
I needed a last minute overnight stay and the Best Western more then met My needs. Unfortunately it was during college sign in week so the price was a little steep. But with that said I needed a pplace 2 weeks later and with out hesitating I again chose Best western and found the price a little more in line and had another good stay.
Only complaint I have is where our room was located. We had to go up steps ,through door ,down a hallway or up a bunch of steps with luggage it was a little ridiculous. After a long day of craziness walking up a lot of steps was way too much.
This place is the bomb! My smoking hot husband and I brought our freaking genius daughter to WVU's open house weekend and we need a place to crash. After watching the WVU boys basketball team have an AMAZING come back win over Monmouth we were worn out and ready for bed. This hotel is practically across the street from the WVU Coliseum! Check-in was a breeze and our room was very easy to find. Room was nice and clean, just like I like them and the bed just right. Not too hard and not too soft! Even the breakfast was really good. The only thing bad I could say about this place would be that the bathroom was a little small, but I am use to a nice big one at home so I guess I'm a little spoiled! I only hope that if you do decide to stay here, that your stay will be as nice as ours!
Nothing extraordinary, nice people to deal with, clean rooms. The hotel is older and could use some hallway and room updating but we are happy staying there. This is our second time there and will probably stay there again next year.
We took our oldest up to check out WVU and after a great night sleep, we felt refresh and ready to check the place out! The cutie at the desk was super nice and very helpful!
beds are very hard. TVs are old and horrible picture. Bathrooms are small barely no room to move. Only good thing about here was the breakfast! It was amazing. alot better then what i was expecting
visit was comfortable. no issues at all. bathroom had slight weird smell. room was good for the price. exterior view of the hotel needs a little work.
