The staff wasn't very nice or helpful. The guy that checked us in didn't tell us anything about the property nor ammenities. I went back down that evening and asked if they had coffee in the lobby, his teply was "dont u have a coffee pot in ur room use it". He went to the back reluctantly and gave me 1 serving of coffee. I asked if he had any creamer, i said i like alot of creamer in my coffee, he brought me 1 package. Later i came back down and asked for an extra blanket and they told me they didnt and then they said and i quote "if ur friend wants the air down that low then take her blanket and let her freeze" yea i couldnt believe it either...... The lady at the lounge was very nice and friendly. Rooms were small, there was a refridgerator but no microwave.

I was nervous about staying here because of reviews I’d read but while the property is dated, it was pleasing, comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay again!

Disappointed in the overall condition of this hotel. Very dated. Needs to be updated especially for the rates that are offered. Not worth the money that I paid.

Overall the property was very outdated. The grounds were very nice and there was a very nice sized indoor pool. The neighboring area (Cheat Lake Park) was very nice!

Lakeview has some incredible greens. Well kept. Mountainview has some great views and clever layouts. Greens are nice. The fairways and teens-- just play winter rules. The hotel, overall is fine but nothing special.

Stayed here for a Wvu football game. It was a 15-20 min drive. Not terrible, not great. The room was clean. Thin walls, as we heard our neighbors argument. But it was a fine stay

Nice grounds, staff was good. The interior is really looking shabby and dated.

Staff at desk were not friendly. Not rude but not polite and cheerful. Room was clean except for tub looked dirty. Beds were comfy and pillows were good. Had a nice lg flat screen tv.

Previous to this visit, I last stayed here about 5 years ago. Things have improved. The hotel is much better maintained. I feel the staff at Legends could be better, but wait staff in the main dining room and the front desk was fine.

The entrance is small and crowded. We were disappointed that our coffee and drink cups were not replenished at all for 3 days. The value was below expectations and we will not return.

It was nice for a average hotel but not what u would expect with the name resort attach the end of it. The room was just average with a 20in TV and no mini fridge. It's a really nice hotel but it's very plain and they don't even serve complimentary breakfast..

RESTAURANT MEMORIAL DAY CLOSED AT 10 AM; HAD TO GO OFFSITE TO HAVE BREAKFEAST. PUBLIC RESTROOMS AND EXTERIOR SHOULD BE UPGRADED ALONG WITH CARPETING.

I arrived late in the evening, but was greeted promptly and given good information. I wish they had a continental breakfast, but there is a restaurant and other places to eat nearby. The room was comfortable and well kept.

This is basically a resort (?) that faces the parking lot. True story: We checked in around 9:00 pm. I opened the curtains to the room, and saw the parking lot. I walked across the parking lot, into the lobby, and asked the desk clerk where the lake was. After all, this is named "Lakeview" Resort. His reply? (this is the honest to gosh truth...) "I'm not sure where the lake is, I'm not from around here!!!!" He did go on to tell me that he thought you could see the lake from the banquet room, and possibly the restaurant, but he wasn't sure. Indeed, there was an awesome view of the lake from the banquet room, and I sat there for an hour while using the free WI-FI, which was nice. The staff just wasn't very informed, and the Lakeview didn't live up to it's name.

Stayed over night for a wedding It would have been better to stay at another hotel
