Make sure to ask for the fourth floor in this four story hotel. The walls are so thin I heard the guy yawn in the room next to me. I recommend the fourth floor because I heard every step in the room above me. At least if you choose the top floor you get to avoid that noise potential. Front desk staff was excellent.

Our room was suitable for two/three people and was clean. The kitchen was adequate for an extended stay. The staff was accommodating in all areas: the front desk personnel switched our room when our initial room smelled of smoke, the breakfast staff was quick to provide refills, and the housekeeping staff was friendly and brought supplies upon request. The hotel is only accessed from one direction off the major road which was a small, but annoying inconvenience. We will look to this hotel when staying in the area, depending on rates at the time.

the stay was great, staff friendly and accomadating overall good experience very spacious room.

Everything with this facility was perfect - staff was friendly and helpful, room was clean, quick access to highways. Would definitely recommend it and would stay there again in the future.

This hotel was wonderful. The suite fit 6 of us (two rooms with a pull out couch). The complimentary breakfast was better than most places. My only complaint is the walls (more so the floors and ceilings) seem to be paper thin. There was a child running around at 5am above us and we heard every movement. The bathroom was surprisingly small for a suite, but it wouldn’t cause me not to recommend or return to the hotel another time. Overall very good hotel, great service and perfect for what we needed.

My mom and I just stayed one night at TownePlace Suites, during a weekend exploring Salem and the surrounding areas. The location was difficult to find at first - the entrance is only a few feet from a on-ramp, and the sign is set back a little too far to see until you're right there. So just keep your eyes open. The room was very clean and comfortable, although it was quite tight with the couch pulled out. The staff was extremely helpful, and the breakfast was adequate, although the room where it's served was very cramped on a busy morning.

The room is clean and bright. The staff are friendly and eager to please. We stayed for two weeks and the price was reasonable because of the long stay. Third time we have been there and plan to do stay every year.

Room is spacious. Price is reasonable. Hotel is a little bit trouble to get there. Need to do a U-turn to reach the hotel location.

We had a two room suite. It is very spacious and comfortable. The room is clean. Staff are friendly and courtesy. The direction to the hotel is bit tricky as it needs a u-turn but that is manageable. The location is convenient. It takes 20-25 minutes drive from hotel to downtown Boston.

The hotel was recently refurbished. The room was very clean, and had a crisp appearance. It was extremely quiet. The desk staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfast choices included yoghurt, eggs, cereal. Minor complaints: the bathroom fan was on same switch as the light, so there was no way to avoid the roar of the fan if you were in the bathroom. The coffee was tasteless. Convenient location for travelers, though far from any real tourist sites.

The room was clean and very comfortable. We didn't stay there very long, pretty much just long enough to sleep one night but from what we experienced it was well maintained and quiet. The entrance from Rte 114 sneaks up on you quick when you are driving the speed limit but we came in another way one time and it wasn't that hard to find. We would definitely stay there again.

This hotel had a great staff, very clean, very comfy and VERY pet friendly. It is only a 10-15 minute drive from Salem Mass and has plenty of restaurants and shopping in a close vicinity as well. I would highly recommend this hotel as the price you pay for what you get is worth it. You get a small kitchen with a stove, fridge, microwave, etc. All you need to cook a meal, as well as complimentary breakfast (cereal, eggs, waffles, yogurt, fruit, etc) included. Staff was very helpful, kind and knew what to recommend. HIGHLY recommend this place if you are looking for a nice place to stay while seeing the sights of the Salem area.

We stayed overnight after a wedding. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and staff was very accommodating. Free breakfast in the morning and coffee all day were a nice bonus.

Love this hotel! Its pet friendly, easy to get to and from salem (only about five minutes), comfortable and clean! Awesome for the price.

Hotel was in the perfect location. Minutes from Salem, MA and very close to family we were visiting in Beverly, MA. Would definitely stay here again.

Great value and location superb for visiting the Boston and North Shore area. Staff very positive and helpful. Rooms being refurbished to ensure good heating and air conditioning and a modern look.

Room was clean"ish", bathroom was showing wear and tear, could use a freshen up, but overall the experience was fine.

The hotel was a little tricky to find but the location was convenient to where we were going to be. It was a quick trip for us and we weren't looking for a ton of amenities so this worked out great. The bed was comfortable and it was nice to have some space. The kitchen and room was a little outdated but again, we didn't need anything fancy. Overall good experience.

Nice big room had plenty of space good and helpful staff, would go there again. Priced right would definitly stay there again. ;)

Every year we have been staying at another extended-stay hotel and decided to take a chance on this one. We stayed 16 days and the price cannot be beat. They refresh the room daily. A nice breakfast is included. Everything was bright and clean. Every staff member was nice and friendly. We will certainly be going again.
