My wife and i have stayed here MANY many times over past 14 years. We started going here when it was still the Lord Wakefield Inn. We love it. Near our family, near Salem, near Boston and just overall a cool town to be in. The hotel in on the lake and thousands of people walk and jog it daily. I understand its a hard time right now with everything going on, but tbey let the place slide. Tbe grounds were not even labdscaped. The bar and restaurant were not open, yet the price was same as always. Overall, it kills to to say but it was not an overwhelming stay. I truly hope for better days to get this and many otber places up and running like normal again

It's an older style hotel. Many parts have been renovated and is new. Some parts are obviously repaired and some things are still old . The dead spiders in the picture frames definitely should be removed. The front desk staff is amazing!! They made the stay pleasant.

It was great except the noise from the other rooms. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and will gladly stay again.

Property is rundown and little things do not get repaired. However, it was clean and prlced accordingly.

Liked the price. However property is rundown. Room was old. Bathroom door was damaged. No electrical sockets to plug the inns coffee marker. Was there for show? No outlets for my chargers.

Nice view. The bar/restautant was good, had live music and pool tables.

Our room wasn’t ready for a half hour after check in time . The room is dated for the price . The toilet clogged but I heard 2 other occupants complain also so bad plumbing. The bedding had an unpleasant odor . The main back door had been propped open and liquor bottles were present outside of the door . Only one bath towel for the two of us .

I liked how the breakfast room was facing the lake, it was a great scene. My mother did not like how there was not an elevator. Otherwise the room was decent.

I was disappointed with this hotel. Don’t book it before you have read reviews. And don’t bring your kids there. Hallway smells weed. Dirty room with dusty TV and wood furniture. There were old hairs, fingernails, spiders web. Bathroom was also dirty, with black and soap spots. The a/c was noisy. Bed shits were old with fluff-balls. And price was too expensive for this type of hotel. One good thing is lake view, that’s it.

Enjoy the view of the lake. Room was just standard. What I was very disappointed in was the fact that it list complimentary breakfast. When actually it was a coupon that gave us 50% of one of the worst meals I've ever had. Each person was $11.95. Absolutely terrible and very disappointed. Don't let me forget the fact that I was right next to the lobby and there was a band playing in the lounge. Heard that well into the night making it very difficult to sleep.

The hotel needs an overhaul starting with a wrecking ball. Dirty carpets, lamps that didn't work, over taxed electric outlets, and bugs.

Breakfast terrible, needs some TLC and renovations!

The room was nice but xouldve used a microwave. The lock on my door was really hard to open...we had to shove the door really hard.

Very quiet and quaint little hotel. Beautiful lakeside views. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was delicious!

Firstly, We sincerely thank you for your continued patronage throughout the years, Robert. Unfortunately, due to Covid19, our resources have been severely limited. We have kept our tavern / bar closed for the safety of our guest and staff. Safety has and remains to be our top priority. We are eagerly awaiting the day that we can have everything up and running like normal again without restrictions. Thank you for your feedback. We hope you stay safe during these trying times.
