Timeless Charming Bungalow, feels like HOME!

Timeless, charming bungalow with all of the necessities of home! This cozy home is perfect for friends, families, or travelers seeking comfort and style. The house is located about 5 miles from the airport, 1 mile from ISU & IWU and walking distance to the hospital and Uptown to dine and shop, location is a guest favorite! The neighborhood is quaint, there is a grade school a few doors down with a nice jungle gym for the kids. The constitution trail is 1/2 mile from the house, great for pets, walks and biking, or, just rest and relax. High speed internet, blue tooth speaker in the family room, new light fixtures and ceiling fans in all rooms, many candles and both fireplaces light with remotes. Comfortable blankets and pillows throughout the house.

Walking distance to the hospital, IWU, ISU as well as uptown - lots of dining, shopping and town events. The house is 1/2 mile from access to The Constitution Trail; 45 miles of paved surface throughout the Normal-Bloomington area; great for walks, biking, dogs

2 bedrooms on the 1st floor, both have queen beds

KITCHEN:
The kitchen is stocked for cooking and dining. Dishes, pots, pans, toaster, coffee maker, electric mixer, air fryer, grilling utensils and more. Plenty of spices, condiments, Kcups, coffee and tea are available at the house

BATHROOMS:
The bathroom on the 1st floor has a jacuzzi tub with shower, toilet and sink. The bathroom in the basement has a large walk in shower, toilet and sink. Both bathrooms have plush bath towels and stocked with toiletries

WASHER/DRYER:
Guest are welcome to use the washer and dryer as well as detergent/supplies

Games -
Pac Man with many game options, lots of children's books and plenty of board games

Backyard/Patio -
We start putting the patio furniture out closer to May. The backyard holds many, lots of families visiting for game weekends bring their own lawn chairs for extra seating for their friends. Plenty of room on the patio couches, egg chair and even the patio stairs for guest. Weber grill, bbq utensils and lots of spices are available for guest to make great memories. Corn hole, bad mitten and many more out door games as well as 2 cruiser bikes are available for guest

When arriving please enter through the front door, keyless entry.

PARKING:
The long driveway holds approximately 4-5 cars. If extra parking is needed, you can park on the opposite side of the street

The elementary school is on the same street a few houses down, great park; slides, swings-

We had a great stay! It was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which added an extra charm. The accommodations were very comfortable. There were a couple of things we found that needed to be updated from the current listing. The most important is that the stairs down to the basement are now located within the main house. That was a plus, since we stayed in December. Also bring your media subscription log-ins for the televisions. Very clean and in a great location close to ISU campus, if you are visiting your student. Host was very responsive to our questions and let us check in a little early.

Great for ISU visit!

Communication was great! The house was easy to get into and had the space we need. Although I read there was a basement door, you don’t realize the impact until you are there. I would say the equivalent of staying in a hotel where half of your family is in the nice room and half are on the next floor. We were all adults, so it was ok, but it was an inconvenience to need to walk around to the front of the house late at night or early in the morning when everyone was asleep because the back sliding door does not have an electronic keypad. If a keypad was added to the sliding door, that would be a big win!

Enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our stay at the Timeless Charming Bungalow. Donna is a great host and was very quick to answer any questions, before and during our visit. To our surprise, the house was decked out for Christmas, making the already cute property even more cozy. The home is well stocked with everything you could possibly need, extra blankets, pillows, towels etc. Very conveniently located just blocks from the ISU campus.

This is an older home that has been beautifully renovated. It truly is charming. The owner was available to communicate with us as needed and sent a man over to shovel following a brief but heavy snowfall. Getting in and out was so easy, I recommend it highly

The house itself was very cute (but small rooms) and very heavily decorated. The only drawback was the 3rd bedroom, extra bathroom and sofa sleeper room was in a locked basement below the main house. This area wa super cold and was not called out in the listing. We feel this was "missed opportunity in the actual listing. Basically a bait and switch.

Great Spot

My hubby and I stayed here with our fellow Redbird parents (total of 4 adults) for ISU's homecoming weekend and it was absolutely perfect. Check in was super easy, communication with the host Donna was excellent. She really goes above and beyond to make her guests feel right at home. Everything listed was exactly as promised. Situated right between ISU and IWU, so whether you're there to visit your Redbird or Titan, you're in a great location. We will definitely book this again. Thank you Donna for being such a great host! Highly recommend.
