I thought the 4.2 user review was going to give me a nice hotel for under $100 along the route I was taking between WI and MO. The beds were comfortable enough, but the carpet and curtains seemed to be from 90s. Once the light shined in the next morning, you could see the curtains were full of holes from either smoking or just age. Sort of seems like somebody did a quick refurb to the hotel about 5 years ago, but did it cheaply. Paint was peeling/chipped in a lot of spots. Random discoloration/spots on various parts of the walls. Everyone in our family seemed to suddenly start sneezing a lot while in the room. I was in room 305. Only there for about 10 hours, but that was long enough. The hot breakfast just plain sucked. Didn't use the pool or anything else.

Hotel is conveniently located and have very nice rooms, and comfortable beds.

I was travelling alone and only going to be in the room for sleeping so I went with the best deal and got this room for $58. The hotel appears to have been updated and the room was nicely appointed. Only odd thing was a huge room with a toilet and tub in it, but a tiny sink with no cabinet? If, like me, you're a dude travelling alone it was no big deal but my wife would not have been amused by the lack of storage for health and beauty stuff. The bed and linens were very comfortable. Room was very clean but did have an odd "oranges and cleaning products smell" that I stopped noticing after a bit. This hotel has, unusually, a lounge/bar with video poker machines and drink specials so if that's your thing, enjoy! Staff were friendly, free breakfast was typical for this price range. Pool area was very nice but the water was a bit chilly. No hot tub; but for $58 I wasn't complaining. Only negative to be aware of is that one side of this hotel is literally 100 feet from a major interstate highway. My room was on the other side and it was quiet as a tomb all night. I stay somewhere nicer (and more expensive) when I bring the family to BloNo but if I am ever travelling alone again I would absolutely stay here. Clean, quiet room at a fair price; what's to not like?

Large room. Quiet and clean Cracker Barrel restaurant is only 10 minute walk. Wife and I both noticed how comfortable the bed felt. Bathroom vent fan was noisy and water pressure in shower could have been stronger. We would stay there again.

Very happy with our stay. Clean, quiet room at a reasonable price.

This hotel is consistently at bargain prices with clean rooms, comfortable beds. When I send employees to the area they request a reservation here.

This hotel is absolutely the best value in the Bloomington, Illinois area. Rooms are always clean and comfortable and the rates are low.

The bathroom is very disappointing. The toilet hardly flush, and very small area in the sink. I would not stay there again.

Hotel staff was very nice. I would suggest that you extend breakfast hours on Holidays and surrounding days to weekend hours to accommodate families not on business.

Beds are 40 in above the floor Hard to get into!!!!

Good staff, rooms and breakfast.....................................

Hotel was clean, convenient, and a great price for the quick stop over while on the road.

I really enjoyed a stay at this hotel. The room was very comfortable and the staff were very nice. Enjoyed good breakfast. Thank you.

i have stayed at this hotel in past. It was wonderful. So was slightly disappointed this visit. Floors with carpeting had fuzz and lint. Breakfast area had crumbs and fallen food on counters and watched staff for the area walk right by it on several occasions. Table tops in area were same way. I arrived for breakfast slightly after 7 a.m. And it appeared that food choices were not being restocked. Past visit there were none of this issues so I am hoping it was a one time deal.

Family had a great time the room size was great. Plenty of room. Would suggest a table and chairs, since the room was so large. Overall we had a great time. The staff at front desk was very nice helped with directions. Breakfast was great good selection. Pool was heated great.

Great value for the fee. Clean room, comfortable bed, good hot breakfast, parking and maneuverability for a pickup and trailer was a little tight. Pleasant staff. Access from traveled roadway was an experience for someone not familiar with entrance access.

This hotel was a great value for the money. the rooms were clean and spacious. The staff was super friendly and the free breakfast was good. Would definitely stay here again

Just stayed for the night. Friendly staff. Nice clean hotel.

My daughter and I enjoyed very comfortable stay just a $7 cab to concert at US Cellular Coliseum. Used both fridge and micro in room and free hot breakfast was very good. Staff was very helpful in obtaining the cab. Will definitely stay here again if we travel to Bloomington for another concert.

Great place! The hotel staff were wonderful people and the location was perfect for our trip to the University of Illinois the next morning.
