Check in was a breeze, room was clean and comfortable. Everything was in good working condition in the room, but the hot tub was out of order (although I wouldn't have had time to use it anyway), and room to fitness door was jammed, so it was closed for the first day of my stay (although I was in Bloomington for a fitness seminar/workshop, so I had access to the local Gold's gym anyway). Breakfast was good, many options, as it was a hot/cold buffet style offering. Enjoyed my stay overall, and definitely would stay again!

Nice hotel. The room was very clean. Easy parking.

Very nice, clean room. We checked in late, left early, so we had the same person at check in and check out. Maybe it was a bad day for her, but just a general review: don't greet guests with, "Can I help you?" in a tone that suggests we crashed a party or that we didn't belong. Additionally, when guests ask if breakfast is available and it's 30 minutes before it is, maybe offer one of those cookies that were off to the side, a piece of fruit that was probably in the back, or let use know a place nearby that is open, even if it is just a suggestion of a gas station with good coffee. Rather, the we got was "No". Again, a good place, just one unwelcoming staff who hopefully wasn't feeling well or was having a rough day.

Asked for quiet room when checking in but they said they were full... i dont think so! Kids running around halls all evening. Where were the parents? I finally had to step into hall and ask them to be quieter. They were playing some chasing games. This keeped it a little quieter. But doors closing all hours of night and some loud fan turning on and off all night. We have stayed at this same hotel many times but never this crazy holiday noise.

Delicious, elaborate breakfast! Super comfy bed! Kids loved the pool and hot tub. Will definitely stay here again in the future when traveling thru Bloomington.

Front desk woman was very helpful getting us a room out if the terrible thunderstorm we were driving in. The room was spacious with lots of towels. Breakfast was nice with options for cereal and warm ham and eggs.

This hotel was just perfect for a quick overnight. Quiet and comfy.

A little noisy when people were walking around in the halls and up and down the stairs.

The place is fine. The bathroom had a little bit of mold, but nothing to write home about. I'd stay here again if needed.

In town for a wedding at another (more expensive) hotel and couldn't get a room at a decent rate so we chose to stay here and were VERY SATISFIED. Front desk was awesome and definitely don't miss out on the COOKIES!

Excellent hotel. Staff was very friendly but we requested a wake up call when we checked in and it never happened!! New shower/tub fixtures had not seen before and when I called the desk to figure out how the shower worked the associate seemed not to know what I was talking about. She was very nice.

Very good, the breakfast is always out of food, no fresh fruit cut, no bagels, pastrys are stale, but besides that our stay was great. We had to move rooms on our first night due to a guest next to our room was playing with the connecting door. That guest was escorted off the property by police at 2am. Didnt get much sleep that night !!

One bedroom suite was nicely sized. We stayed with one small child and had plenty of space.

Bathroom clean, but in need of maintenance.shower curtain rod loose, paint in bathroom chipping and cracking. Not a high dollar fix, just poor maintenance.

Upon arrival we checked in and got our room key. We went to our room and the door was open. My wife stayed in the hall while made sure it was safe. We went in and got settled. Our frig wasn't working so we call the front desk. They sent a guy up to check it out. He says check and see if it is better in 40 minutes when you leave and let us know. We proceed to leave for a few hours only to be stopped by the door to our room not shutting full to latch and lock. They graciously put us in another room and we went on with night. As we were getting ready leave the hotel to check out my wife noticed that the door again would close . If you never checked by pushing against you would never be aware you stuff wasn't secure. She then said we won't be coming back here again if the cant do better

I have no major complaints. I am a very critical person who read a lot of reviews before I book or buy anything. This was a great hotel for the price. The room was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. Staff was polite and service was quick. Wireless internet was free, but a little slow (4 mbps). I stayed on a Friday night. The hotel was pretty full and a little noisy , but all of the noise was coming from the hallway. I was able to escape it in the bedroom (there was a separate bedroom door). I will definitely stay in this hotel again.

This place was just remodeled and it showed. Everything was spotless and looked like new, beds were comfortable etc. Breakfast was good quality with a nice selection. The additional plus; this was the friendliest hotel I have seen? From the desk staff to the housekeepers, every encounter with an employee was courteous and pleasant. Loved the comp sugar cookies in the lobby. We scarfed several in a one day stay..... Only negatives were a few maintenance issues in the pool area that shut it down for a day. Also, be warned that this place sits virtually ON the runway of the local airport and when planes take off it is quite loud. As it is a small regional airport though, the plane traffic seemed to stop pretty early and did not keep us up. We have already booked our next stay here, and this will be our "go to" place in Bloomington. Happy travels!

joined Club Carlson because of this hotel!!! very nice staff and amenities. love the real breakfast that is included in the price!

We were meeting our friends from another state. The suite worked perfectly for our visiting. The breakfast was very nice. The staff was excellent. I wouldn't recommend a room near the pop, ice machines. There were excellent brochures that gave us ideas for seeing the area and trying different restaurants. It was a good stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Only complaint was that shuttle to airport was supposed to be complimentary but taxi driver charged me the $6.50 upon arrival at airport. Not a big deal but a little deal :)
