Great location and great staff at check in. Scratches on room door, lamp shade next to bed is broken, HVAC unit grille has some minor damage, shower floor tile grout needs work and hard to tell if deadbolt is engaged. I noticed these items within first 5 minutes in the room.

Room was very nice and clean. Ideal for close proximity to UAB-Highlands. The only problem I had is the key card lock on my hotel room door. I had the hardest time getting in twice to the point where I thought that the key had demagnetized and had them reprogram the key. That was frustrating since I was on the fifth floor, but overall, I would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed the space of the room, a studio with 2 Queen beds and a Queen pull-out couch. The kitchenette was a perfect size, and we loved the full-size refrigerator. Our only complaint was that the room was stuffy and humid our entire trip (3 nights), even though the thermostat was set on the lowest setting at 60 degrees. We were also charged a $30 incidental fee that no one could explain. There was no refund. Check your bill when you check out.
