We were met with smiling faces and authentic kindness every time we entered the lobby. The staff was always helpful and the hotel immaculate. The breakfast was great, with a myriad of options to fit any dietary restrictions. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the temperature in the room consistent. We would definitely stay there again.

The parking and check in area is small. There is zero moving if it is even remotely busy - I spent an hour trying to get the front desk to help me get a woman sitting in her car to move after she was asked nicely by me and the person behind me twice. The staff at check in is nice but out of it - they ignore questions and concerns. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. A lot was out constantly at the breakfast counter and not being refilled. If you are in a hurry this is not the place.

I had to call down for towels and toilet paper on the second day since no one cleaned our room all weekend and we only had a small amount to start with. Also the second night was awful I had to call the front desk 2x about the room above us. It sounded like they were having a party. It was so loud! I was awake listening to them most of the night. Called twice and brought it up on check out and no one cared. She didn’t even say sorry. Breakfast was good but by 9am a lot of stuff was out or almost gone. By the time it was filled again I had eaten scraps of what was left. Overall it was very expensive for what we got. I feel like almost 1k for 2 nights is a lot to not have your room cleaned, have to call for toilet paper, towels, and listen to loud drunk people all night?! It’s not like I was staying at a Super 8. lol

Rooms were very clean and staff was very accommodating. However my primary concern was limiting available parking . This hotel occupies over 100+ rooms , however only 75 parking spaces. This’s absurd to me the only alternative is to park on the street or park on another hotel premise and pay $35- 40 at owners expense! Secondly no available forks to eat during breakfast, was just told there wasn’t any available.I visit the area regularly due to my daughter attending UAB , this will definitely be my last experience at this hotel!
