Trying to find a hotel close to Airport but safe to park my new mustang convertible. Room is huge. We were greeted by friendly staff. Smoke free is great. Bed is soft. Bathroom has huge walk in shower. Unfortunately we won't be able to get breakfast because be have to get to the Airport early.

Comfiest bed of the whole trip, nice staff and spacious room with good internet. We didn't read the leaflet with the breakfast times and missed it but the lovely lady there let us grab a few things anyway.

Sparkling new hotel next to a Starbucks. Very comfortable beds, nice staff. Good rate. Breakfast area is a little small for the size of the hotel. The part of town the hotel is located in is run-down and a bit seedy. Not easy access to interstate highways. Neither of these are any fault of the hotel staff, but if you are thinking of staying there and are not attending a function at the Crosspex, you should be aware. If I had business nearby or was going to the Crosspex, I'd definitely say there.

New hotel, comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast standard, very good scrambled eggs much better than usual!!!! Unfortunatley the ac was very noisy but room was comfortable. The area however which is no fault of the hotel was very noisy with motor bikes screaming up and down till the early hours , sounded like a race track. Not a bad stay though all in all ok for 1 night.

Came to Birmingham for a softball tournament and booked into Comfort Inn Crossplex. Very nice stay in modern and well appointed hotel. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Beds are very nice with quality linens. Breakfast in the Lobby looked good, but we had other plans in the morning. Best thing about this hotel is the Staff. They were friendly and very accommodating. Always had a smile and greeting as you come in the door. There is a Starbucks within walking distance and also an Applebee's restaurant. Overall... A very nice find in Birmingham!

The hotel appears to be a newer hotel or recently remodeled. The room we were given was a handicapped accessible room, although neither myself or my wife are. I can live with that, but worry when I’m put in a room that should be for people who need it. The room did have an indistinguishable odor coming from the AC unit. I mentioned it to the front desk and they said they would check on it. Nobody did. I was disappointed with this stay.

Location can be a bit noisy and quite far away from nice restaurants and shopping but we really recommend this hotel: personnel is really nice and helpful, property is quite new and well maintained, rooms are spacious and clean. Great bed. Complimentary breakfast (bagels, creamcheese, fresh fruit, cereal, scrambled egg, bacon, sausage, fresh waffles). Good value for the money.

The manager told us they opened just 4 months ago and the place is very clean and modern. Friendly staff, nice eating area with good breakfast. Not hard to find and easy access to highways 78, 269 (which leads straight to I-22) and I-20 (when it re-opens). It is "rate friendly" and a good value. Really liked the beds and pillows!!

The bed was heaven and I wanted to take it home. The hotel is brand new and so clean. I would rate this hotel room like a Marriott. I did have the suite. I wish I came to this area more often to stay here!

While attending the American Conference Indoor Track meet, I booked a room at this hotel for the location. The location is perfect. Just a short walk, across the parking lot to the front door of the Crossplex building. Couldn’t be better (saved $5 Crossplex parking fee even) The hotel is new and clean. In fact, it had a new building smell. I tried to figure out location prior to arrival, but the building was too new for even Google satellite views. Breakfast standard issue for a Comfort, but the people here in Birmingham were super nice. From the front desk worker at our 3am check in, to the morning staff, room attendants, breakfast attendants you name it, if they were working in the hotel they were nice and helpful. Really made our stay enjoyable. The picture, not the best shows the longest distance to the front door of the Crossplex facility. The picture is from my room, last room in the hotel. It was really damp during our visit so the picture doesn’t have the best lighting. I would definitely stay here again.
