No internet, no bed bugs (did check), but hotel is super dated, and needing a complete refresh/remodel. For the price, there are better 2 star options. NOT a 3 star property anymore. Was probably a 3 star when it was a Hampton Inn. Everything is super worn out. Was only there for 2 nights, will not be booking for future trips.

To walk into the lobby and to be greeted with a bright smile. Will make your day. She was good to be working here only 3 week's she could have a great future with the company if y'all keep her. I am satisfied with her customer in this day you don't get this. Two thumbs up! I just hope I spelled your name correctly lol 😂 But keep making guest feel welcome! You did just that. Thanks! We decided to stop driving for the night having few options close to I65. This hotel is terrible in just about every way. For instance, the check in took at least 30 minutes despite no one being in front of us when we arrived. The room was filthy, like it hadn’t been cleaned in a week. Worst of all, we received a phone call from the front desk at 3 am from the front desk, asking if the room was occupied. This ended our sleep for the night, because our teen daughters were in the room next door. Were they going to get a call or even have their room reassigned to another guest? Or was their something more sinister going on? These are the types of thoughts that race through your mind in the middle of the night when you’ve made a bad choice for your family’s stay. We packed up extra early and didn’t look back.

Bed bugs confirmed. Rooms in disrepair. No internet. Breakfast cereal without milk available. The lobby is the only thing somewhat attractive. Entire Third floor has a smell of dead bodies. Used to be a Hampton Inn... well the property lost the right to be associated with Hampton chain. Not clean, staff is not trained. Amazed by how many things that are not as they should be.

The good: The staff was super nice. The hotel lobby and rooms were clean. Had a holiday smell to it. I stayed at this hotel for 4 days and what I'm typing below were consistent issues. Internet: Seriously lacking. If you go here expecting to get on the internet with even a sub par speed, you'll be seriously disappointed. I was getting speeds slower than a phone modem. I had to switch to my phone hot spot at times cause it was soo slow. Breakfast: It was a joke. Cereal with no milk. Waffle iron without waffle mix, half rotten fruit. This wasn't a single day occurrence either. I had an orange juice cause there wasn't really anything else there to eat besides toast. If you aren't there for the internet or the breakfast, then you have a nice hotel to stay at.

I was reluctant to book this hotel because of the price and the reviews were from one extreme to the other with an over all rating above 4 stars. So I decided at that price I would chance it, I was pleasantly amazed. Once the word is out, I believe the price will change. The staff is nice, the rooms are cleaned the breakfast was hot and above average. I have no complaints and I enjoy saving money because we do travel a lot.

They seem to have two different reservation systems. When I got there they couldn’t find my online reservation and made a new one. I did not get charged twice however and they did honor the internet price. The room was basically clean but there were a few sticky spots on the counter and desk. The desk chair was raggedy, with the vinyl peeling off. Wallpaper was peeling off in the bathroom, and the carpet in the bedroom smelled like urine. The comforter was soiled, I slept in my sweats with just the sheet. Breakfast was supposed to be from 6 to 10, when I came down at 6:35, there was no breakfast and no coffee. The attendant told me they had to wait for the manager to get in and unlock the breakfast room. I came back at about 10 after 7 and breakfast was available, but it wasn’t the hot buffet breakfast advertised. There was bread, bagels, cold cereal, a waffle maker, and that was about it. They said the hot breakfast was only on the weekends. For the money, you can do a lot better.

I want to begin by saying that the employees of this hotel are phenomenal and went out of their way to try to make my stay as best as possible under the circumstances. Despite having spent a tremendous number of nights at this property when it was branded as a Hampton Inn, I am sad to say that I no longer recommend this hotel for business travelers. The online reservation system did not show up in the computer when I was checking in, despite having an email with confirmation number. The first room I was placed in had not yet been made up by housekeeping. The staff then moved me to a second room, which they found - along with myself - to be unusable because the smell of the perfumed carpet cleaner was so strong neither of us could breathe. The third room initially appeared to be minimally acceptable. However, the wifi connection was so weak that I could not access the internet in any meaningful way. I could not call the front desk to report this at the time, because neither of the phones in the room had a ring tone. Even if they did, I wouldn't have known what number to call for the front desk since the directory plate had been removed and there was no welcome book or anything similar in the room to explain the hotel or its features. In the morning I canceled my reservations for the rest of the week. I used to stay here quite often because it was next door to a work site I frequently travel to, but in the future I will drive farther out to avoid staying at this property.

This place is in desperate need of a complete overhaul. The staff is friendly and doing the best they can but the hotel itself is in bad shape. Awful smell that they have tried to cover with perfumed packets in the air vents (makes it even worse), toilet didn't flush without removing the lid every time, shower didn't drain, etc. When we booked it was a Hampton Inn and I guess they have since sold, so no Hilton oversight. More than $200 per night to be in a bad location off the highway (you cannot walk to anything). Gut renovation needed, absolutely overpriced for what you will walk into...

We arrived exhausted at 9pm due to dorm move in at UA Tuscaloosa. The bed was messy/rumbled, looked like they just threw the cover over a slept in bed. The bathroom - OMGosh urine at basin on both sides and around the rim, mold growing on grout in corner of tub. We actually contemplated sleeping in the car!
