Ms Jessica Harrell and Ms. Carsena Abernathy has given me and my family the best customer service this year. We will definitely be staying here our next trip. Thank u ladies for all y'all hard work to keep everything going smoothly. And to keep every customer happy and satisfied. May Jwsus keep blessing y'all.
I stayed at this hotel while I was going through a messy divorce and I must say the staff went above and beyond to make a my situation much more bearable. I was always greeted at the desk with a smiling face and anytime I needed anything everyone there made sure I was taken care of. The rooms were pretty basic but I loved the fact that there was a kitchen with a stove and big fridge to make me feel more at home. If I ever need a place to stay in Bessemer again I’ll definitely be staying there.
Horrible experience I ever had at a hotel. Roaches crawled up the walls in every room. Floors were black with dirt. The toilet was broken. Manager was rude and not accomodating. Corporate was no help.
Stay anywhere but this hotel. The hotel looks nice from the outside, but definitely not the inside. The online pictures make it look fairly decent, but NOPE!! We booked the extended suite for three nights and when we got in the room there was NO coffee maker, and NO kitchen utensils. Who the hell is going to stay in a hotel room for THREE days with NO coffee maker??? And what is up with that awful linoleum floor in the hotel room??? YUCK! My husband and I immediately went back downstairs and told the lady that was unacceptable and we'd like a refund. She "claimed" she refunded our money, but I have yet to see it... (It's over two weeks now..) We immediately left and went to the Best Western next door, which was heaven. Coffee maker, lots of towels and wash cloths, and not to mention nice carpeted floors throughout. IMAGINE THAT! Sketchy folks hanging around that hotel too. Not a nice place to stay at all.
On November 9th, 2017, my sister and I were guests at this hotel. We reserved a room with two Double beds. When we arrived, we were very disappointed in the quality of what was provided. In the room, there was no coffee pot or ice bucket. When we called the front desk to ask for these items, we were told that they did not have them. However, as we were leaving the next day, other guests informed us that they did indeed have coffee pots in the back. There was a blind on the window, but no curtain to block the outside light that came in around the edges – it was like having a light on in the room all night. Additionally, there were no coat hangers, stools, or benchs to put luggage on. In the bathroom, there was only one bath towel and one wash cloth, and only a sliver of soap that was barely enough to wash our hands with. There was no soap provided to use for showers. If you stay at this hotel, be aware that almost no amenities are provided, and the few that are are of poor quality.
The whole experience was just okay. Sometime a little creepy with some of the guest. I was well worth the money but probably would not stay here again. The staff was matter a fact and not as friendly as I thought they should be.
There rooms are great. They have kitchenette, full size refrigerator. But when I got there I realize that I didn't have any cooking utensils so I went to the front desk ask one of the front desk clerk if they have any extra cooking utensils they actually offer me a dish pack and also a coffee maker. That actually kind of save me because I didn't have a way to get to the store to purchase any at the time so I want to thank them very much for helping me out with that. What a great place.
This was my first time staying at Woodspring Suites, it was a great experience staying at this hotel. The people was great, friendly and has a very helpful staff. Those people go an extra mile to help you at this hotel. I just want to tell them how much I APPRECIATE them for making me feel at home.
I stayed at the wood springs suites before in March and had a pleasurable experience but when staying fro a second time, I did not have the same experience. Firstly, whenever someone is staying at an extended stay room, they should be treated kind and with respect. I gave a compliment to the front desk the last stay that I was here because it appeared that they were so sweet, but right after that it was not the same. There is a girl, by the name of leslie, at the front counter that has been continually rude and disrespectful, and that is not cool at all. For 4 weeks straight, she kept trying to over charge me, knowing that I was a day early paying, she then had a bad attitude which in turn upset me as well.. It did not end there. Every time I renew, I have to keep going back downstairs at least 4 to 5 times for her to activate the room key. I had requested no room service and she turned around and went into the room that I am currently in anyway and said that if I don't like it I can tell the manager. She claimed that she had the wrong room and that an older lady, that lives next to me brought down her linens and then someone told her to put a sheet on the bed that I am in, even though I had already brought down my linens. She walked up to the room with me to stick a device in the door to finally activate the room key, so how did she claim that she didn't know that It was the room I was in? Also, She went in on a Friday and waited until I left the room to go in when I was not there. I do not appreciate anyone INSINUATING that I do not work, that is not cool. Even if I did not work, who has the right to judge a person unfairly and unprofessionally? I pay my money, like anyone else and I will not be treated like Crap, regardless who It is. People should never ASSume anything because, not only will they be wrong, but you do not know anyone's situation. I keep to myself, but I will not be treated like crap at all. I guess if you happen to be the right ethnicity, the assumption will be that you can "afford" the room and therefore are treated with respect and their boundaries are not crossed. Regardless of my ethnicity or appearance, I will be treated fairly like anyone that "appears" to fit the description of being treating like a PERSON!
Iam currently staying here until I leave for basic Training (Army 👌👍). I would have to say that the Bessemer, AL WoodSprngs Suites is the BEST extended stay ever 😄😄 This is my first time staying and I am loving this 😄😄 The Front Desk is very Professional and personable and the Housekeepers are Wonderful and always smiling, I can tell they love their jobs😃😃.(Wow!) WoodSprings Suites made me forget I was even a guest with rooms that are clean, organized, and has everything you need. You never know what a person may be going through and when you come across Excellent customer service, that keeps people happy, that makes the customer's word of mouth positive to others 😊😄 I will be extending my stay and telling everyone not to waste their money any place else, this is the place they should go. Thank you so much to all of the Bessemer WoodSprngs staff , You ROCK! God Bless you All 😄😄😊😊 #One Happy Customer 😄😊😊 Peace, T.Ross
