From our check in to our way out, the staff was lovely. Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We appreciated the "germ free" remote. Originally we were assigned a room near the interstate. A visit to the front desk afforded us a move. We found the breakfast lacking, but we did arrive one hour before it closed.
I got in Friday evening, quickly checked in and was in my room in 5 minutes. the room was clean and smelled fresh. All the right stuff was there - towels, bath mat, soaps, clean and defrosted fridge, clean microwave and a TV with a remote that actually worked. I will definitely stay there again and I recommend it to anyone. I even got quick directions from the manager to a local grocery store and that was spot on.
After driving all night and getting tired I gave up on super finding a super cheap room and stayed here. It was an older place but in good shape. The room was large and clean. It was a quite location. I thought it was a little pricy for what I got but there was nothing else around.
The room was clean. Electronics partially upgraded but still has some 'old school' going on. Refrigerator & microwave were nice. No in-room coffee and lobby coffee not ready when we were leaving. Breakfast in lobby was minimal and we passed on that and didn't have time to wait for coffee to be made. A bit over priced for what we received.
There was nothing good about this hotel! Sort of old and run down - beds iffy and only a sheet and a spread (no blankets any where) - soap was yucky and the towels scratchy. We only booked this because it was a race weekend and rooms were hard to come by - paid an exorbitant price for a horrible room! So glad we only had to stay there one night - it was one too many!
I started staying at this motel three days a week while working in the area. It is very clean and we'll tended. Managers and staff are polite and helpful. Microwave and refrigerator in rooms. Fresh towels are placed in your room each day when they come in to make the bed or beds. Coffee and sweet rolls are provided each morning. 10 to 15 well known restaurants are within a 5 mile radius.
I want expecting much but That being said the room was dirty, smelly and there were bugs. I was afraid to go to sleep. The bed was super hard with a couple of thin pillows. If we could have went somewhere else we would have.
The lady who checked us in was nice. Quick and to the point which was fine. We stayed in a king non-smoking room. They could really use an update on that room for sure. The room was clean and the bed was comfy. We had a fridge and microwave but no coffee pot. So all in all it was ok but a bit pricey.
My first "issue" was with Expedia, not the hotel. When I searched for hotels, Expedia shows this location at $44.00 a night. When I booked it and paid for it, it was $79.00 a night. This is NOT a $79.00 a night hotel. When I arrived at 3:00PM, my room was not ready. I was quickly given another room that met my needs. The room was what you would expect for $44.00 a night. Old TV, old furniture, old carpet, old tub, etc. Very few electrical outlets and the ones I could access didn't work. One had burn marks from a previous short and another was so loose, the plug wouldn't stay in it. The room was clean and the staff kept it clean for my two day stay. I would return for $44.00 a night but would opt for another hotel in town at $79.00 a night.
I was surprised on how clean the room was after all the reviews that I read. There was a few things I was concern exposed outlets and not enough soap. Luckily I brought my own soap. It was about a twenty minute walk to Barber Motorsports Park and just right off I-20. It's not the Hilton but the price is right. The staff was very friendly. I was happy to stay two nights out of the four nights in the area. Perfect for budget travelers on the go.
