This is right off the highway so there are plenty of places to eat around here. Now for the bad...the interstate noise is quite loud. There are no elevators! No fun carrying 70 lbs suitcase up stairs. Breakfast was no good at all unless you stuck with banana, cereal or yogurt. This place is in dire need of a remodel. It is very outdated and old. AC didn't cool enough. Bed is hard. Carpets are dirty and coming up. I would not stay here again and would not recommend staying here unless you had to like I did.
This is a typical property for the price. I would give it an above average ranking for the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff and the breakfast items and area. The internet had some consistency issues. The parking lot seemed small so that if people do not park squarely in their spaces it could be difficult to park a vehicle of size in a space. Fortunately, one can conveniently park at the Carraba's lot immediately adjacent to the office. We would certainly consider staying here again if in Beaumont.
When our car broke down 40 miles south of Beaumont, we arrived at the hotel because it was near the repair shop. The desk Clerk, Amanda, was very warm and courteous, checked us into an accessible room on the first floor and gave us a discounted rate. The next morning, Anna arranged for us to have a late checkout, giving us time for the repair to be completed. All the employees we met were so kind, including the lady who prepared the delicious breakfast we had. The bed in the room was very comfortable, and the nicely tiled bathroom, spotlessly clean, was most welcome! The ladies made a bad situation much better.
Pleasantly surprised. Clean, affordable, great wifi. Will be back in two weeks. Great restaurant next door. Friendly staff. Recommend to folks looking for a good deal with clean room. Putting green outside too. Wish I had my putter:) will next trip.
Always enjoy my stay here. As I have special needs the staff has always been very accommodating. Breakfast has good variety and is good. Rooms are clean. Nice place to stay and conveniently located to get around the city.
We have recently stayed at six different Quality Inns. The front desk staff at each of these inns was surprisingly kind, helpful, and responsive. This is certainly welcome when one arrives tired and a bit frazzled from travel. At breakfast (which was quite nice) I was the only one present and I did not want to listen to more political news. When I asked if the sound could possibly be turned down the front desk immediately shut off the sound. That was so kind.I asked each guest as he/she arrived for breakfast if the sound should be turned back on. No one wanted it on. Only problem was the pool needed both cleaning (was pretty nasty with bugs) and some type of shade (umbrellas maybe). The room was clean and quiet, towels were plentiful, and air conditioning worked. What more could one want.
My granddaughter, husband & 4 children stayed in adjoining rooms with a connecting door. Continental breakfast available in lobby, small pool. Nearby restaurants include buffet, Italian, Mexican, seafood, steaks, sushi, IHOP & Waffle House. The rooms were clean & the staff helpful. Would use again.
Great location easy access to interstate. Friendly staff.excellent guest services Amanda, Rwanda very fast getting us in our room . Excellent staff in the restaurant Pernella, Toyre, Gloria and Kenneth Mitchell very friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Nice rooms.
Having stayed at Quality Inns before, I was confident that this would be a good overnight stay on the way to New Orleans. The location of the hotel was good...right on the IH-10 access road so it was easy to find. It was across the parking lot from a good Italian Restaurant which worked out well. The staff who greeted us were very friendly and professional, and did anything they could to ensure our stay was a good one. But, the hotel itself has seen better days. Signage falling off the walls, peeling paint, lumpy mattress, etc. As far as I could see it was mostly cosmetic issues (other than the mattress), but all else being equal I'd stay somewhere else that's maintained properly.
This was a very nice hotel --- stayed here on our way to fort worth --- passed up the much higher rated comfort inn to save $30. +. and it was worth the savings --- the room was fine, shower was very good, location also good. Breakfast in the morning was also more than satisfactory --- good assortment of hot and cold foods, good juice selection and coffee fine. also quite convenient to have a carrabbas right next door --- nice rest. and bar
