Stay was great, everything was good, staff was friendly, this is about the 3rd stay for us here.
Rooms are noisy if you are in the front of the property from the interstate
Everything was good, did not notice any loud noise or any unsafe activity on the grounds

Room layout great, shower great. Most disappointed with the bugs…..were very small, may have been some kind of ant? with wings. Many more found under the quilt cover! Wife found them in her bed, so many she needed to join me in my Q bed. We also on the floor. On top of the bug problem was the all night (24h) heavy semi truck traffic on I-10. Slept very poorly. Would never stay there again.

When I booked the room I noticed it said "smoking" on my itinerary. I called the hotel to inquire. The hotel staff said "We have no smoking rooms here." However, when I arrived in my room, it reeked of cigarette smoke.
Nice facility. Too noisy.Right next to highway. Waffle House near by. Tilted Kilt next door.
I was told breakfast would be available from 5ish to 10. When I got to the dining area, not only was there no breakfast available, but there wasn’t even any coffee! There seemed to be no sense of urgency or concern by the people on staff. Once I got my breakfast at nearly 7:30, the staff was friendly, at least. Everything else at the hotel was fine.
Clean and located near lots of good restaurants and a movie theater.
This is not the first time we have stayed here. It must have changed ownership over the last year. They have unfriendly 3Rd shift desk clerks, breakfast was very different than every other Hgi I have stayed at including this one last year. The ac did not work in one of our rooms. No bag liners in the trash cans, etc

Stayed just one night in this hotel but it was beautiful inside and the rooms were very updated. Staff was friendly and attentive and the conference I attended was well served and catered with good food as well.
It was nice. My daughter and I was looking at Lamar University and since it was mom and daughter time she wanted to stay at a nice hotel. So instead of staying at Holiday Inn we stayed here. Other then cost there was not much difference.
