This place is very clean. The staff are wonderful and very welcoming. Raven at the front desk and Jamie in housekeeping are awesome! They offer a complimentary happy hour 3 days a week with free beer, wine and a hot meal. The breakfast changes daily but all taste great. We really enjoyed our stay.

Needs a bit of improvement in housekeeping, but the staff was very nice and accommodating. Decent complimentary breakfast. If you're a non smoker, make sure that you insist on a nonsmoking room. Smoking is still allowed in a portion of the rooms!

Really like this location and stay here a lot. However, the full status caused by hurricane Harvey has caused some problems. On my most recent stay (October) I was checked into a room that I discovered there was someone already in the room based on the many personal items in the room (fortunately, they were not there). I immediately went and informed the front receptionist. They didn't seem too concerned and gave me another room. Hate to think someone could be given a key and access to a room in which I was staying. The newly assigned room was lacking wash towels, face towels and Kleenex. I returned again and asked for these items. I was given only one of each and they had to hunt for those. No apologies or real concern on the part of the staff. Hurricane Harvey has kept the hotel full almost without exception. That extensive, nonstop use has made the rooms worn and dirty and they are not being cleaned or serviced very well. Hope they can turn it around as I like that location and stay there on business regularly.

So they call me, before I get there, to tell me that they don’t have any more rooms available. Although I scheduled it over a month ago. Later they call back to let me know that they talked to their managers and were able to fix the situation and I now have a room again. That should have been my clue to cancel right then. The check in was terrible. Got to my room and found no 1 towel and 1 washcloth got my family of 4. The beds are the smallest I’ve ever seen. Wallpaper pealing off the elevator. Looks like they renovated an old hotel and put as little money into it as possible. I feel like I was at a motel 8 or something. So I go downstairs and ask for more towels. She never says a word and comes back with three towels and three wash cloths with no hand towels. I’m contacting hhonors. Please please don’t come to this place. I can’t believe hhonors is ok with this place.

WIFI didn't work anywhere in the hotel. I told the front desk about and the response was "Its like have to wait for it to work and then connect." Really?? So you mean to tell me that..Hilton...which is a world wide corporation...can not afford to fix a WIFI problem?? The bath tub was dirty and stained. The sheets on the bed were I myself...took the sheets off to turn them around...and the mattress pad underneath was very badly stained! Next keeping asked me....asked me...if I need anything done to my room....I told her that the room need to be completely clean and new lines. Nope didn't happen!

Hotel had a floor fan running when I entered the room. the room smelled of mildew and the carpet was wet, most likely from the A/C. I don't understand why they would put a guest in this room if the room that didn't meet their standard of excellence. I was on the road all day and I tired. I did complain when I checked out. They did refund my stay, but I will have second thoughts on my stay at these hotels in the future

When I booked this hotel, I was unaware of the Manager reception. This is only the second Hampton Inn that has this type of function. I do hope this is something Hampton Inn will role out company wide. I was checking in for my stay and I heard the pop of a beer can. I asked what was happening and next thing I knew one of the desk personnel was brining me a beer during check-in. Besides the check-in running so smooth, this is what I call service. The hotel was very booked since it had hurricane victims staying there. But service was still up to par. Room was clean and ready for me every night and the service at the reception was spot on. I am glad I booked this hotel instead of one of the other Hilton chains. I will be staying here again when I visit Beaumont.

So we had reservations ( two rooms) in place for over a month and had stayed in this hotel Monday through Friday the previous two weeks. Also reservations made every week through November . On 9/9/2017 we received a phone call at 7 pm ( while eating dinner after traveling and working all day) stating our reservations were canceled , due to a mechanical issue??? No effort was put into finding alternate lodging no help at all. Very very disappointing.

Property is nice but getting a bit tired. It still shows evidence of hurricane damage (lower drywall removed) but there was no evidence of mildew in my second floor room. In room cleanliness was very good; hallways were not well vacuumed and had recent spills present. Room 206 had a broken desk chair and tv was having problems - would shut off periodically and had some display issues. Did not report as I didn’t want to deal with these issues due to my work. (Apologies) Stickers in elevators are peaking off - etc. HOWEVER Property does excel on the service side. Miss J at the desk (pm) is one of the best hospitality employees I’ve seen - she should consider a degree in Hosp Mngt if she hasn’t already done so. Knew many clients by name and just knew how to make weary travel feel at ease. I do recommend property and would stay here again.

This hotel is subpar. I know it suffered from Hurricane Irma, but it obviously needed major renovations before that. It is not up to Hilton standards. There are missing walls, major mold issues, etc. Everything is well worn and needs replacing.
