Nice room and very quiet. It was difficult to find the hotel, even with directions. We were disappointed to find out that the pool was closed for the season , it the end I’d September in Texas and it was 94 degrees out.

Beautiful with great service!

Very nice room and services but despite their no drugs no smoking rule my last night there my neighbor in adjoining room decided to smoke some real stinky pot late at night and it came in under the adjoining room doors into my room and the hallway reeked of it too for about two hours. I let the lobby staff know when I checked out so they plan to take some action. Other than that its a beautiful nice place to stay with restaurants inside the hotel.

Poolside patio perfect, front desk host nice. However, due to moist from the weather and age of the property management and or owners could spruce up the place a bit, by painting, replacing the carpet or no carpet and using wooden lamps due to rust issues from climate, maybe steam cleaning upholster chairs, etc. Other than that the rooms are spacious and accommodating and good location. Overall, I rate the property a B minus.

It was a decent place. Kind of oldish but staff was very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great! So was the bar, just wish it was open a little later. The couch in our room had several stains on it and it just felt unclean, we didn’t sit on it.

Came into town to visit with friends and family. Only stayed for one night. We got into town late, had that have not been the case, we would have changed hotels. The outside sidewalks leading to the front were all damp and covered in slippery slime. There was condensation of some sort dripping onto us as we walked along the front of the building. Once inside, the entry had a foul smell. The hotel is under some sort of "renovation" (though I cannot tell you what) so we were directed to the service elevators in order to access the floor our room was on. It left the feeling that someone was going to jump out of one of the dark corners and attack us at any given moment. There were random piles of trash and empty boxes laying around, just thrown into random places. Our room was horrible. You could literally see into the hallway from the large gap between the door and trim all around as well as under the door. The showerhead was broken and sprayed a stinging mist. We went to get ice, but the ice machine on our floor was obviously broken. When I called down to the service desk to see where another ice machine may be located, i was told there is a working ice machine on each floor and the phone hung up. The pillows were all matted and completely lumped up. We went to Hemmingway Cafe' on the way out the following morning. The breakfast was okay. The wall fountain in the cafe was broken and was just dripping water down the wall, which was covered in algae.
