Centro Hotel Kommerz

Excellent location

Excellent location, just across the street from the train station if you exit at the correct side. The staff was reserved but friendly. The bathroom was clean and the shower was a decent size so I wasn’t banging my elbows or knees every time I tried to move. The bed was a single and not a queen as advertised but since it was just me and the least expensive room they had, I wasn’t bothered. I would recommend and I would also stay there again.

Mercure Hotel Köln City Friesenstraße

Tipycal Business hotel

It is at a busy area. One would say it is vibrant or noisy. Tou want really hear noise from your room, at least mine. The hotel is typical business style hotel. clean , comfortable and free mini bar. But the deco is pretty out dated.

Hotel Cristall

Decent hotel in a convenient location.

The best things about this hotel are the location (a few steps from the Dom and old city and also the central train station) and also the hotel has a fairly decent but basic breakfast. The worst thing is probably the noise. It's not too bad and didn't bother my wife and I, but folks sensitive to road & train noise might want to think twice.
