Staff at reception was very attentive, specifically the lady from Nepal (sorry, I’m really bad with names) I wish there were things in the room that guests probably need like an iron or a steamer for clothing, shower head cap etc. I like the hotel and the location.

My 8 day stay was spoilt by the lack of the most basic facilities - 2 of the lifts not working during my stay ... the revolving entrance door also not working. Restaurants not opened. On Friday 31/10 for example only one restaurant available as the Hotel were also accommodating a wedding; this in conjunction with the lift situation meant room service was the only option.Room decor very dated. Housekeeping poor - room was not service on 31/10 - presumably because the Hotel was so busy with the Wedding & other events being hosted. Despite booking a superior room ensuite facilities poor - shower not great. There was also a stale smell in the room despite requesting non smoking ( had to keep windows open during the day).Honestly there are better 3* Hotels than the Maritim. Felt I had been robbed. Never again!

The hotel is in an excellent location. Bedroom and bathroom were spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice, especially the varieties of delicious bread and the coffee. Housekeeping and reception staff were very good and hard working. However the WiFi was poor and dropped connection frequently. The gym and pool were disappointing, very small, and no staff present, towels have to be collected from reception who then told me I should have brought one from my room. Mixed changing room and showers which I found strange.

Great hotel to stay at. It is in a great location, close to public transportation, which we didn't ise actually, as everything touristy was at a walkable distance, includingthe central train station. Our only compliant was the stuffines of the room. The weather was pleasant outside, so we kept our windows open. It's really noisy during the day. Surprisingly quiet at night. The hotel itself is quite charming with great staff. We'd definitely stay there again.

Great Location

Hotel was in great location as it was within walking distance of Koln. Hotel was nice, rooms were spacious and clean. The restaurants and shops in the hotel seem to shut, but restaurants are 2 min walk. Breakfast was great, with wide selection of hot/cold options.

Poor experience and bad value

Great location, nice breakfast, room was hot and A/C was broken. We ordered a fan and it was not sent until we asked again, didn’t work. Service was bad. Room is out dated, small bed. They jacked up the rates for the conference to 5 star price but a 1 star hotel

Dom and Rhine!

Great hotel in great location. Our room had a marvelous view of the Dom. Grand lobby. Right on river walk. Great restaurants a short walk away.
