This hotel was able to work with me when I had a short notice stay that I was not sure if I was actually going to need the room. They put the room on a courtesy hold and when I confirmed that I needed the room it was just what I wanted. I would stay here again if I get back in the area. They also have a guest of the day that they present a gift bag that is very nice thought.
What an incredible staff that perfectly match an equally impressive hotel operation: from the Evening Reception (actually hosted not just spread out)... to the immediate response for a maintenance call (Tory got that ice machine working, yes he did!)... to the spacious suites with windows that open for a breeze... to the parking practically at your room door... to the tasty breakfast with hot and cold alike (especially those fat-free yogurts found only at Residence Inn)... and again, to the amazing staff members who treated you like family (in the best sense of that word). What a thrill, can't wait to return.
I sent some of my employees to this hotel while attending a conference and they were extremely rude and unprofessional and even went as far as giving my employees false information and not transferring calls to there rooms from there family members
The hotel is very close to shopping and my mother-in-law, who we were there to visit. Very comfortable rooms and great breakfast. Parking is a challenge as the hotel is full of displaced flood victims. The staff is very friendly. Nice happy hour Monday - Wednesday. Could use some updating in the near future.
Stayed two nights in this comfortable and convenient (to LSU and east side) hotel. The one bedroom suite was nicely decorated and adequately illuminated, but there were some glitches. A stove (two burners only) control was broken, a refrigerator drain tube was loose, and a displaced carpet strip nearly caused a fall. Breakfast was a highlight of our stay, served in a large, bright, modern room with multiple small "personal" TVs, a fireplace, many food choices, coffee syrups and cream, and many condiments. The front desk was very pleasant. The outdoor pool and hot tub were fine. There was only one elevator and luggage carts were scarce. The hotel is adjacent to a very large, distributed shopping center, which includes a Walmart and a Sams with gas service.
Checked in last week. Hotel was full due to the area flooding. Mostly goverment folks but a few families that were flooded out. Staff was amazing! Managers reception was wonderful dispite the hotel being packed. I had sent some materails to the hotel to hold for my arrival. No problems - great location as well. Goin gto stay here again.
Pleasant staff, clean rooms, tasty breakfast & good location. Will defiantly stay here again. Our only hitch which was fixed immediately was the carpet was wet in our room. They had steamed cleaned it & didn't realize it wasn't dry. They happily changed our room when asked.
This has a great location. Close to Walmart and Sam's. Right next to the mall of Louisiana. Several restaurants to.choose from. Located right off the interstate. Easy to.get on and off the interstate and see the hotel. Chuck.e cheese is close by
There were five of us, so we stayed in a suite with two rooms and a sofa in the sitting area. There was plenty of room and the suite was clean and comfortable. The room description online said that only one bedroom had a door, and the other had a divider between it and the living room, so we were pleasantly surprised to find that both bedrooms had doors, so everyone had privacy. Breakfast was good, but nothing special, just a basic hotel breakfast. My only complaint is that there wasn't any extra bedding for the pull-out sofa. We called the front desk, but they didn't have anybody who could bring it to us, so we had to go down and get it. In most hotels I've stayed in, when there's a sofa bed, there's extra bedding in the closets. Other than that one hitch, we enjoyed our stay.
We stayed at Holiday on Sigen a year ago and again this week. They have an excellent staff that are so friendly in making you feel like you are at home. The best continental breakfast and are willing to please. I will always use this location while in Baton Rouge area.
