Place was dirty run down very very disappointing. What a waste. Horrible cheap bed. Dirty towels in the hall at 3pm. Place is old and run down. Worst stay in awhile. So bad all we could do to not get upset was laugh about it.

Great location but obviously gets busy and rooms and lobby showing enormous amounts wear and tear. This place needs a makeover big time!

The outdoor pool was closed due to well, we don't know. The hottest day of the year. Also there was trash all over the place outside. our room had dirty sheets and we had to make the bed ourselves. The refrigerator in the room was never cleaned. we had to request to have the floor vacuumed. bugs everywhere. dinningroom was not cleaned while breakfast was served.

I wish I would’ve known the water park was going to be closed on Easter

It was perfect for what we needed. I thought the complimentary breakfast sounded great but when we got there a lot of the food trays were empty and no one was around to replenish. Not good.

Busy hotel, rooms are in need of updates but a pleasant overall experience.

Hotel needs some updating, as wear and tear seem to be an issue and with rates as high as they are and the hotel at full capacity, it is not a cost issue but a poor business decision not to begin updating the facility. We did not use the water park nor the arcade and other family areas of the hotel as expected due to our late arrival and early departure times, and we did not use the restaurant, we ordered delivery, so our decision to stay here on our next trip will not be a given but we had a pleasant stay and the front desk attendant, forgot her name, was very nice and helpful both times (we stayed here twice in 3 weeks) My kids complained that there were no "do-it-yourself waffles" for breakfast, a first in many years of traveling my kids were quick to point out, so they may want to get a couple of those. Overall I agree with the 3.2 out of 5 which seems to be the average on online review sites.

This hotel is old and outdated. Would rate 2 star at most!

This hotel was such a rip off. I don't have a good thing to say, save the very polite woman at the desk. It was so dirty and stinky. The doors were sticky. The rooms were old and dingy. TheWaterpark was small and outdated. The pool was closed because, as staff informed me, was green. On top of that there was a not previously mentioned fee of $10 per person to go swimming and that was the evening only cost. Way too expensive

the indoor water park was great and the girls at the front desk were super helpful. But the beds were kind of hard which made it hard to sleep. But overall I would recommend this hotel and would stay again.

The hotel is a 3 1/2 star hotel, the waterpark is perfect for kids ages 10 and under. We paid $89 A night which is expensive For any hotel in batavia. My two-year-old daughter love the water park! There was two big, quick slides that my daughter couldn't go on.

Clean, inexpensive, closest hotel to Batavia Downs Casino (free shuttle too!). Quiet even with kiddies running around for the waterpark. Nice bar too.

The employees were wonderful. The room was fine but the lighting in the room wasn't very good. There were 3 lamps and 2 were in the same connor and for someone who has bad eye sight it seemed pretty dark in the room. The location was great for everything we did.

I was travelling alone on business and it met my needs - clean comfortable room. It is more ideal for families. My kids would have loved the indoor water park. Maybe next time.

We had requested a non-smoking room. That request was not satisfied. However, when we went to our assigned room, it was already occupied and all other rooms were sold out. fortunately, the staff gave us the under-construction honeymoon suite and we had a good evening. The hotel is tired, the carpets need replaced, etc.

got key to room just about the longest room to front desk, open door look like bomb went off had to go back to desk to get another room.staff friendly an nice.

Staff was average. Room was clean, though the white towels were not very white. Some towels looked yellowish. They should invest in new white towels. Some bathroom tiles had mildew. Sofas by elevators were very old and appeared to have a lot of dust on them .The front part (lobby/First Floor) of the hotel are taken care of better than the back portion of the hotel. All a front! I could not sleep well thinking that maybe the bed I was sleeping in was not clean. I will not stay in this hotel (Clarion) again !

I travel through this area several times a year and consider this my half way point to my eastern destination. Not really that concerned with amenities for just a night sleep and then gone, so I have never expected much from a budget hotel. However. was I pleasantly surprised, This hotel has immaculate rooms, comfortable beds, easy off/on to the thruway and a quality staff. Highly recommend. A continental breakfast would be a nice addition to a very nice lodging.experience.

Hotel has changed owners, but looks exactly the same. Hotel needs a refurb - is Ok but dated. Decent restaurant, microwave and refrig in room is good. No indoor pool as they are working on a "spa." Overall, hallways, stairs , rooms etc just need to be refreshed. It is OK, I would go back
