Exceptionally friendly staff but the resort does suffer somewhat from age. Some renovation taking place now so the pier and its bar was off limits which was a shame. A friendly suggestion to management, please have your speed-boat driver desist from making endless tiny circles when he's not ferrying customers; it's polluting, noisy and costing you unnecessary diesel bills.
Room comes with balcony and you can listen to the sea at night (make sure you have mosquito repellent). Spacious room and stylo shower. Feel like staying in a bungalow. cons: nothing good to eat there, you need to spend time to go to the city center. Can I still order banana cake at the hotel reception and collect at check-out?
We have been continuously visiting Turi since 2014. And it has been more than just a resort but our 2nd home. All along we came back to Turi for couple time. Things changed this time round as we brought our little angels and family along. Smooth arrangements and warm hospitality from the time we made reservation till we left the resort is commendable. We definitely look forward to return again, especially with such great effort from the team. Thank you once again to the Front Office Manager, Mr. Zaenal Abidin and his team.
One of the best resort in Batam! from Nongsa ferry terminal they got the pick up van to bring you to resort just show them your confirmation. It’s less than 10 mins from ferry terminal. Upon arrival staff was very friendly offering a welcome drinks with a warm smile, Staff Lely was the one who assisted us. She was so helpful and friendly along with Mr. Zainal who really take care of us offered us an early check in so we can enjoy the resort. Room was good, spacious and facing the sea which you really can feel so relaxing. Breakfast was amazing a lot of varieties it’s international buffet breakfast they offered some activities at the resort if your interested. They got 2 Swimming pool which is big facing the sea as well. We ordered 2 times at room service I’m just surprised that the service was fast...upon checking out the shuttle service to ferry terminal just left and I manage to see Mr. Zainal and he never hesitate to offer the hotel van to send us to ferry terminal. Good job guys I will surely stay again at Turi Beach Resort!
We booked two rooms - Riani deluxe with sea view. Unfortunately one room had hardly any view as it was blocked by the chalets in front. The rooms are very basic and are more chalet than resort. Very basic toiletries were provided. The power tripped 3 or more times the night we stayed there and once the air conditioning was off you could hear the mozzies buzzing around your ears. The rooms we were at were far from the amenities. There were many stairs to climb to get to the breakfast place or the pool and would not be a good place for strollers or wheelchairs. Food options were not bad. The Japanese teppanyaki was very enjoyable. The emerald pool was very lovely with a nice sea view.
This place is ok. One side seems run-down and too many amenities were closed (restaurants). The staff is wonderful but the resort is lacking. Very basic rooms. Limited food choice if you are vegetarian. Oil stains if you walk barefoot on the beach. But it was pretty and relaxing.
It's been a year since my family last visited Turi Beach Resort. The place is well maintained and is nice to see familiar friendly faces again! Glad that our favourite Mr Zaenal is still working there! He's forever both helpful & thoughtful. Thank you Mr Zaenal! This is our 4th time staying at Turi Beach Resort... and it's still our favourite resort for relaxation!!
This resort is good for those wishing to spend time without engaging in much activity. The resort is well kept for the most part. It is a real shame that the beach often contains tar, which makes it difficult to go into the water. We did not go to the beach for this reason. For travelers from Singapore, I would recommend taking the ferry from Tanah Merah because of the free shuttle to the hotel from the Nongsapura jetty. The main let down in the hotel was the food. There are few vegetarian options, which can spoil the travel experience for many. However, overall, I would not hesitate in visiting the resort once again.
We stayed in the Tirta premier room, with 2 twin beds. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious, although it felt a little run down (floor had stains, etc). We felt the resort was a little pricey - food options were on average IDR 100,000, and quality was so-so. In addition, apart from the 2 complimentary bottles of water we received in our room, all other drinking water is chargeable - we were stunned when we called the reception requesting for some water, room service came with a 330ml bottle of water at IDR 42,000. On the bright side, the resort is generally well maintained; everything looks great and is very comfortable. Also, the staff were really friendly - from the reception to the restaurant staff - so kudos to all of them!
Went for family vacation, the place is great and the room was spacious. This place got 2 pool. and both was good. Really have a nice time with family. Front desk was very helpful for your need. Thank you for the free cake for my anniversary.
