Have been staying here for my last few Batam trips and have been very happy from room to staff to amenities but this trip was not so pleasant. First of all, think was given a room on a smoking level? Kept smelling cigarettes througout. Then the tap for shower and sink is not working well, its jammed and water splashing all over. The lock on the door was also not working well... Complained to the reception and they were very polite and pleasant, tried to rectify the issues but doesnt help much. Wish they would double checked everything before releasing the room, and we were there after 3pm, which isbthe check in time, so they should have enough time to prepare their rooms for new guest.

The only thing I liked was the location. It was extremely convenient. Room reeked of mould odour and the place was filled with stains. Look at the photos of the basin and bath tub. The carpet probably contributed to most of the musty smell. You should really remove carpets in locations that are high in humidity. It is not sensible at all to continue using those ancient carpets. The spa inside the hotel was the worst we’ve experienced at that price point. Avoid at all cost. So if you only need the hotel for sleep at night and don’t plan to spend any time inside the hotel, it’s fine for the location. But if you want a decent stay, avoid this place. Also, the employees at the front desks lack proactively in correcting problems experienced by customers. Their English is fine but their service attitude is poor.
