The hotel was very clean ansd the staff were very nice. There was a Thursday night football game that they kindly bought us snacks for while we had free reign if the televisions in the lounge. I left my book and IPad on check-out, which they mailed to my home at no cost!!! Cannot say enough kind words about this facility!
The hotel is new and that makes a big difference. The breakfast was great, a cut above. Close the the expressway.
It was nice that the room had a separate living room area where we ate dinner. Great pizza place next door! Also nice to have a microwave and mini fridge if you are staying a few days. Breakfast was okay... don't expect gourmet when it's included in such a reasonable room rate. I wish the hotel had the heavy duty bedbug proof mattress covers... something I look for bc I am a bit obsessive. Everything was clean though and the cotton mattress cover looked clean. I just would of expected Marriott to protect their mattresses better. But who knows, maybe there is some other hidden protection I don't even know about. Very nice hotel! Very convenient to the highway.
The room was clean and it was not noisy when we were there despite the hotel being very busy. A major disappointment was that the setup for assisting patrons print a boarding pass did not work and the desk attendant seemed not to care. Our phones do not have service in Canada, so we could truly have used that service to save time at the airport. If the hotel is not going to keep the service working, they should eliminate it. We wasted more than a half hour at the hotel trying to get the computer in the lobby that is connected to the printer to work. All the desk person said is that it is slow and sometimes does not work--no offer of help, no work around. We also then had to spend about twenty minutes printing at the airport. Not good. The beds were pretty stiff and not that comfortable, though linens were nice. The rest of the staff was pleasant, but the attitude and waste of time re the boarding pass debacle really colored our opinion.
