I've been here a month now and have enjoyed my stay immensely. So much so I'm staying on an additional couple of weeks! The rooms are super clean. This is worth repeating because the staff does an exceptional job of keeping the rooms clean. The entire staff from the moment you walk in is very friendly and helpful. The food is terrific. The chocolate caliente is pretty good too! Breakfast is decent with good selection for those of various eating styles. There's a gym for those inclined but I've been running 8k runs down the beach boardwalk and being outside is amazing. This brings us to location. It's a great location with a metro two blocks away. Plus the Diagonal Mar mall is two blocks away too. Some good eats in the area as well. The Diagonal Mar mall has an exceptional restaurant selection outside that is perfection. The plus is the beach is only a ten minute walk or three to five minute run on a run. On the roof there is an awesome area to sit out and relax, tan, eat, drink and be merry. The view is incredible as you gaze over the city and hills close by. The view at sunset is the best. I believe the roof is open from 10am - 10pm. There is also a pool there to beat the heat and get off your feet! It's also nice and quiet. You can relax and sleep soundly. The rooms are great size and the beds are comfy. Great bathrooms. Who's it good for? Everyone from families to business travellers to people here for tourism. The floors are unique and each floor has a different theme. I like my floor best. ;) Walking score of 8.5/10 as there is metro and grocery store and restaurants and mall and beach right here! If you're coming to Barcelona I highly recommend the Vincci Bit!

Central AC automatically turns off at certain hours but you can easily turn it on again. Front desk folks are friendly and ready to help but beware of small goods and services that are not free - having your wine bottle opened (EUR 3), regular bottled water (complimentary at some hotels). Location is quite convenient as the metro and tram stations are a 7-min walk away; neighborhood with lots of children, dogs and senior citizens so fairly quiet. Most landmarks (e.g. Sagrada Familia, La Rambla) would be half an hour's commute. I would recommend this to friends and family.

Spotlessly clean & comfortable. Best shower ever. Staff were welcoming & friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them. For us the location was ideal. A ten minute walk to the beach. A 5 min walk to the tube & a short ride straight into the centre of the city. Best of both worlds!

The beds are excellent. Bathroom is spacious and hot water and shower are excellent. Fairly quiet. Very clean in the rooms but the hallway carpet could use some work. The biggest negative for us was that the daytime front desk staff were not overly accommodating, helpful or welcoming. In fact, it is only from reading the other reviews that I have learned that they served dinner there! Also, they did not inform us of the pool or rooftop terrace. The night desk woman was helpful when I needed to print out a boarding pass. After checking out and later the same day, we realized that my daughter may have left her camera in the room. We called the front desk to see if they had found it and were told that we would have to email the housekeeping staff which was problematic since we didn't have access to email. Typical example of how they would never go the extra step to make it easier for us. The location is out of the way for some of the touristy things and aside from a large mall nearby, which does not open early, there are not many places nearby to eat. The trade-off is that it is fairly quiet. The metro station is a reasonable walk from the hotel. The coffee in the room is instant coffee and when I plugged in the electric kettle, it did not work. It would be nice to have free coffee in the lobby and for what we payed for our room, I don't think that would have been out-of-line. Overall, the rooms were very good but I would not go back there due to the daytime front desk staff who generally seemed indifferent to the fact that they work in the customer service industry.

Stayed here recently in April, pretty quiet for Barcelona. The hotel is on the less busy end of the city and requires public transport to get to the main sights, but public transport is nice and easy, and there are Metro and Tram stations a short walk away. Located near the, in our opinion, better and quieter beaches (Barcelonetta is too busy and more "shingley"). The hotel itself is very nice, rooms tidy and clean, bathrooms nice. The staff were helpful and pleasant, never impatient and always smiling. The hotel bar/restaurant served decent meals. The hallways and decor were very modern and had character, interesting art and decor throughout. Had a great stay and would definitely go back again.

We stayed here for four nights at the end of March. Hotel is approx 30 mins from airport and hotel arranged pick up and drop off for us at a cost of 35 euro each way. Driver was waiting for us on arrival and on time for when we returned to airport. We arrived late on a Thursday night but check in at reception was quick and the staff very polite. We were given a card for a free drink in the bar when we ordered a meal which was a nice touch. Hotel reception, foyer and bar area were spotlessly clean and with a very modern arty touch. Our room was on the fourth floor with a view of the side street below. Again there were very modern touches in the room with nice floor lamps, pictures on the wall etc. We had tea coffee making facilities (albeit in a rather small cupboard which was awkward to get to), mini bar and a free safety deposit box. Bed was huge with lovely soft pillows and black out curtains which certainly helped us sleep in during our stay!! The bathroom was also a good size with lovely hot powerful shower and huge bath. There was also a hairdryer included and an excellent magnifying shaving mirror. We had maid service every day who came and tidied the room, made the bed and changed the towels. We ate in the hotel restaurant on the Friday, as the weather was awful!!! I enjoyed a very nice steak, roast potatoes and small peppers 'pardron'. Steak was cooked to perfection. My girlfriend had spaghetti carbonara which was also very tasty. This was washed down with the vino sol white wine which was cold crisp and dry. Very reasonably priced too. Hotel is situated about ten mins walk from nearest metro stop and across the road from a big indoor shopping complex. Metro is great for getting around and only five or six stops from the centre of Barcelona. Tickets cost us 9 euro, 95 which gave us ten journeys each which lasted us for our entire stay. You can also head towards the beach which is approx 15 mins and walk the beach road into the centre. This will take about an hour but is a lovely walk. Would love to return to Barcelona again as we didn't see half of it during our 4 day stay. We would also recommend Vincci bit hotel to anyone that is travelling to Barcelona. Thank you for making us feel welcome.

Really enjoyed our stay here, staff were excellent and the hotel is full of character, the fact that its a little out of the centre made it perfect for us, 20 minutes on the Metro and you are in the middle of everything, would definitely stay again, well done Vincci Bit!

My wife and I stayed at the Vincci Bit from 1 to 9 April, because friends of ours lived in the area (Poblenou), 20-30' from the city centre but a lot quieter. Staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. Although we speak Spanish, we noticed that many guests were English speakers and at least one of the staff at the reception desk spoke good English. Same for the staff at the breakfast buffet. Our room on the 7th floor with double bed and en-suite bathroom was reasonably large, nicely decorated, very clean and sound-proof. All the usual room amenities were available: TV, safe, refrigerator, coffee/tea, wifi, etc. The water pressure in the shower was good (important for me). My only minor remark: the receptionist on duty forgot to wake us up at 3h30 in the morning as requested, but we had our alarm clock as well.

This hotel has really adorable decoration fits exactly with Barcelona spirit! An additional advantage is that is really close to the Diagonal mall. Service is excellent and restaurant menu frankly delicious. I would recommend staying!!!

Enjoyed staying here, very clean and welcoming, though a bit far from the centre. Would come back for sure - amazing value. I'd recommend going up to the higher floors for a great view! If you walk about minutes towards town you'll find some great cafes and places to eat!
