Really clean, friendly and helpful staff. Location of Para-lel is ideal, a really quick and easy walk to La Rambla (15 mins) and the Gothic Quarter (20). Great restaurants are also located in the back streets behind the hotel.

Internet connection didn't work in the room most of the time. They should not advertise with having internet connection at all in the rooms. No real parking option - I paid 80 euros for 1 1/2 days in the parking lot next door. Otherwise an OK hotel - neighbourhood only average.

We stayed here for 5 nights in July - the hotel was in a good location and inexpensive. A short walk away from La Rambla and right near the subway station which we used to get around. The hotel service was good and the rooms were cleaned daily. The room was basic but we didn't need much more since we were barely there. breakfast was also included which was pretty basic and Wifi as well which worked well

The location was great, staff fantastic and friendliness was top too. You have to pinch yourself it is only a 2 start hotel as I have stayed in 4 star hotels that were not as good. It was great to bring the dog too, but only down side he could not be with us at Breakfast.

My family and I arrived at hotel after completing a wonderful stay in Athens and a 7 day cruise. We checked our bags in at 9am and then had a very full day in Barcelona. Hotel was clean and modern and staff very kind. We were located one level about street and our room was next to a very busy area. Noise was insane. People party in Barcelona. That's ok. What was not ok was that room. People yelling, screaming and laughing until 5 am. I went down to the desk at 7am and asked for a different room for the following night. They said yes and I took my migraine and sleep deprived self to breakfast. Very nice breakfast. Be WARNED! If it's a weekend ask for a room away from the noise. They should have asked me before sticking us in that room. Worst hotel experience in my many years of travel

My friends and I stayed in the junior suite ( room 507 to be exact). The room was a lot smaller than I expected it to be. We had a terrace which was very cool and very big. However, we did have a few issues. First, the shower head was broken when we went to take showers. the water sprayed everywhere and completely soaked the floor. The hotel did have it fixed the next morning. The door handle on the bathroom door was become more loose by the day. One day we returned to our room to find the electricity card missing. I went to the front desk and turns out, they took it. Why? i do not know but when I asked the gentleman, he handed it right to me. There is no iron or ice machine in the building. Our rooms were cleaned everyday with new towels each day as well. Staff were very friendly and helpful when needed. We did have a terrible odor seeping in our room through the vents at times. It smelled like sewage and made me nauseous. We had no idea where it was coming from. Lastly, they apparently lock the front doors at a certain time, but the desk is 24 hours. We came back from the nightclub at around 5am and had to knock and ring the buzzer because the doors were locked and no one was at the desk. Otherwise, we had a pretty good stay. The hotel is close by public transportation so we were able to get around just fine.

Pros: Close to metro Clean room and bathroom Cons: Satisfactory breakfast, not a lot of choice Not many staff to assist you No balcony No outside or inside communal areas or bar Poor wifi Overall a soulless hotel

We had a great stay at the hotel. Location is perfect. Nearly everywhere, there is silence at the same time. Rooms clean. If someone shakes a quiet room, ask for peace from the inside. Rooms were serviced daily. We will recommend this hotel. Ps . Zamawialismy co prawda dea oddzielne lozka, a dostalismy jedno podwojne, ale bylo duze i wysypialismy sie bez problemu.

My friend and I stayed here for two nights at the end of June and really enjoyed our stay. We booked the junior suite for a good price but wouldn't call it a suite. It's a nice room with two single beds pushed together and a separate sofa bed. There is a lovely balcony with plenty of chairs and a table. The room wasn't that spacious but the wardrobe and storage space made up for it. There was a safe, mini fridge and good air con but unfortunately no kettle. Bathroom was a good size with a nice shower which proved vital as it was so hot while we were there. The hotel was in a good location with plenty of shops and restaurants within metres of the hotel. We were able to walk to the beach within 25mins or a taxi for only a few euros. It only took 20mins to get to the airport in a taxi. All the staff at the hotel were friendly and approachable. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

I stayed at this hotel with my husband and 1 year old son for two nights. I wasn't expecting much given the price we had paid and time of year that we were travelling. This is my 3rd time in Barcelona so I knew what to expect. It's a hot spot for travellers and if you want a really nice hotel you have to pay big bucks for it. But as most travellers who visit Barcelona, you only end up sleeping in the hotel. The city has so much to offer in terms of site seeing, shopping that who would want to stay in their hotel room anyways. Our room was available earlier than the check-in time (3 pm). We arrived around 2ish so we just waited in the lobby until our room was ready. There was a room you could leave your luggage (but I didn't feel comfortable leaving it there). And I'm glad I didn't because both nights when we returned to the hotel there were homeless people sleeping by the hotel entrance 😩 The room was small but big enough to fit our two large suitcases & stroller! It didn't have a balcony but it did have a window (believe t or not there are hotels that have rooms without windows) Nice size bathroom my only complaints are (1) the hair dryer which was of very cheap quality, not powerful and you have to hold the button the whole time your drying your hair and (2) there was no shower water prEssure. So it felt like you had 5 drops of water coming out of the shower. And when I tired to regulate the water temperature the water would go from cold to very hot (I mean like boiling hot) I almost burnt my son with the water. And this was not a problem in my room but a hotel problem because our friends were in another room and they had the exact same problem. The room was clean and had a little fridge .... however if you stock your fridge I'm pretty sure that when you leave your room it does not stay on - much like the AC (if the room card is not left in the little slot in the room) because I bought milk for my son and it was warm when I got back to the room. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel so I comment on that. In terms of the location - I would have preferred to be closer to plaça d'Espagna where you can find hotels in the same price range. And the reason I say this is because you can buy tickets to the hop on hop off bus there. So if you wanna use the bus tour to get around the city and site see it's preferable to be closer to there. From this hotel it was a long walk (and in the heat and all the walking you have to do - this additional walk isn't necessary) and there's also a mall near plaça despagna. The hotel is right next to the metro station (parallel) not sure if it's the same line as the airport. But if you wanna save money I recommend taking public transport instead of a cab to the hotel. We were two couples who took a cab from the airport and it cost us close to 50 euros. Overall it was an okay hotel. I didn't hate it but I didn't love it either. Wouldn't go back.
