The location is fabulous; easy to walk/metro/taxi anywhere in the city. Rooms are modern and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is a must! Loved the rooftop bar! Mitchell, one of the bellmen, was so very kind and welcoming... and VERY patient as he (repeatedly) helped me with directions throughout the city. So very happy with my choice to stay there!
This was a magnificent hotel. The staff was superb. The service was outstanding. I was suprised by a nice bottle of champagne and chocalate cake and birthday card when I returned to my room the night of my birthday. Highly recommended.
Pure luxury ! Had a junior suite, and it was spaciuos ans clean. Everything was top. The personell was helpful and kind, and we have absolutely nothing to complain about. The terrace was nice with great view along the Passeig de Gracia. Breakfast was good with a lot to choose. Did not eat in the restaurant. If you'll like to spoil yourself this is the place in Barcelona :-)
I have been to Barcelona twice and this is my favorite hotel! We are going back in October and I can't wait to stay here again. This hotel is in an ideal location and the service is excellent. The staff is amazing, I loved speaking with each one, the hotel itself is beautiful and I loved learning about the history, the room was perfect. I enjoyed sitting on the small balcony and taking everything in from below! The rooftop bar is nice to enjoy and evening beverage before a night out. I can't wait to return in October.
We stayed here for 1 night before a Seabourn cruise with our 5 year old son. What an awesome place. Beside being architecturally beautiful and historic, the rooms are large and luxe, and possibly the best bathroom we have ever seen in a hotel. Service was very friendly and efficient. Nicely located in a very upscale area of the city, you can walk to the Ramblas in about 20 minutes. Nice touches at the turn down service. Loved this hotel and will return!
We stayed at casa fuster for 4 nights as part of our Spain vacation. The hotel presents itself luxuriously and it was generally a fine experience, however some things left a bitter taste which will make it unlikely that I will return here. 1. Staff: while some of the staff (doormen, Mircea at the front) were exceptionally kind and helpful, the Russian lady (Tatiana) at reception was uncommonly stuck up and pompous, spoke in a derogatory manner without even looking at your and generally tried to make us feel inferior. 2. The hotel is very, very poorly insulated for noise. I am not a light sleeper, nor am I generally bothered by noise, but I was able to hear absolutely everything our neighbours were saying, when they flushed their toilet, and whenever they would open and close the bathroom door with a slam. More than once I wanted to call reception in the middle of the night but I realized there's nothing they could do. 3. Finally, I had mistakenly forgotten my (fairly expensive, $500) sunglasses on their patio. The next day we were going out in a rush so I just grabbed another pair thinking they were just somewhere in the room. Finally when we packed I realized that I no longer had them after that day on the patio. I asked a reception and one of the people there identified them for me, gold frame and glitter and went to get them. They were gone for a while and when they came back they said they did not in fact have them, that it was very strange...I imagine someone from their staff saw them not being claimed right away and took them. Not cool from a 5 star hotel. 4. The food prices at the hotel are an absolute rip off. I never mind paying a lot for good food, but 6 euros for a small coffee and 9 for an orange juice is just robbery for no reason. I have stayed at many comparably rated hotels in Europe and none have been so unnecessarily and without justification overpriced.
Went here got a pre-lunch drink Beautiful building from the outside matched by opulent interior. Stunning ground floor cocktail bar Roof top bar can boast comfortable seating, fantastic views and great service. Loved it so much went back!!
First impression was sadly not great. Despite rooms being paid for with booking, one of the two rooms was not ready when we reached around four p.m. They did get the second room ready after an hour but did not seem very apologetic. Rooms are tight and I would like to think there are better options for the same price. Good location, on the passeig de gracia which is close to several sights. The concierge team is however fantastic, all of them very helpful.
Spectacular restaurant and hotel in the center, primary quality of food beverages rooms services breakfast spoken languages and available services 24 / 7 at complete discretion and disposition to satisfy the client overall
Casa Fuster is generally a very good hotel. Its exterior appearance, interiors, corridors, rooms, dining room have their own personality and are carefully crafted in detail. You are delighted to walk in the corridors, sit in the lobby and drink your drink on the terrace by watching the illuminated Barcelona. Breakfast is rich with good quality food. However, in our room there were some minor problems. The toilet did not have the privacy to have a toilet. Also, the very small balcony of the room seemed to have been cleaned for a long time. In general, Casa Fuster is an expensive hotel but I think it is a very good choice.
