Casa Fuster Hotel5.0 out of 5.0

This is a tough one. For me, Casa Fuster just doesn't accomplish what it sets out to do and be. To me, it isn't luxurious, and it isn't even close to top notch. The first thing you see when you walk in the lobby is... nothing, because the dark black tile and confusing layout make it unwelcoming and disorienting. Then you're hit with the overwhelming stench of heavy air fresheners, which also spritz in the hallways upstairs (I actually got a shower from one while walking by at the wrong second) and in some areas (we saw a second room) don't even manage to cover up a thick mildew smell that lurks here and there. Our shower, which had a weird ceramic floor we had to step up onto (which made it hard to not soak the whole bathroom floor), had the mildew smell. Our not-reinforced windows looked into a pedestrian alley, on the other side of which is a school. So every morning and afternoon, we enjoyed an hour or so of screaming kids being picked up (we were in the room at these times some days with our own napping baby). Some kind of concert venue was back around the corner and the bass thumped late into Saturday night. The air conditioning was hard to manage in both rooms of our suite, so we had our baby dressed in winter pjs where the air blew so we could get circulation to us in the "back" room. The suite was full of very tired, very bulky furniture that didn't make sense for a room of that size, and so many THINGS--faffy coffee tray, weird light bulbs on the counter in the bathroom, brochure/stationary rack, books, etc.--that just seemed to exist to collect dust and weren't organized to maximize space. The overpriced breakfast buffet in the basement was just so weird (it was in the basement!!) and dark in there, it was unlike any hotel breakfast I've ever seen. However: the staff was incredibly helpful and kind throughout our stay. I appreciated their efforts to make us more comfortable, and they did an amazing job. Also the location truly cannot be beat, and the rooftop bar is a slam dunk. The perfect way to end a long day walking through Barcelona for sure. I basically think this hotel is fine, it's just not for me. Lower your expectations a little if you're expecting luxury.
One time in your life you have to be here. it is not an absolutely perfect hotel, but you can find almost everything you need. Tasty with a wide range of products breakfast, friendly and care taking staff, pillows and mattresses are extremely comfortable, bathrooms are fully equipped, great roof terrace with a good choice of cocktails. If you would arrive on Thursday than you will visit great restaurant with jazz music. As for me, i will return to this hotel (I have stayed in this hotel 6 times).
Super view over Passeig Gracia. Downstairs very chique hotel however on the 6th Floor a very modern terrace, Many young people on friday evening. Really nIce food and drinks. You do pay for the view though
We returned to the Casa Fuster because of their unrivalled attention to detail. The staff are so welcoming and always happy to help in every situation. We had the senior suite which they made comfortable for the entire family. They had a function on at the hotel during our stay but we didn't notice as the staff work around this sort of thing brilliantly. They make children feel so welcome and are always keen to encourage them to drink water in the warm climate. Once again Casa Fuster thank you for a wonderful stay.
Stayed at Casa Fuster Hotel in June 2017. Very helpfull and serviceminded staff, excellent roof top bar with a splendid view over the city. Nice and well-equiped rooms with a broad selection of pillows on the pillow menu. Perfect breakfast with egg station and top service from the staff. Can only renommend Casa Fuster if you stay in Barcelona.
I have tried so many hotels in Barcelona that I can say Casa Fuster it's the best. Service, Food (Breakfast buffet is to die for), Location, Rooms, Cleanliness, Views from the Roof Top, etc. I will stay there next time for sure.
We were treated very well from the moment we arrived until the moment we left by everyone from doormen, bellboys, front desk, restaurant, rooftop bar etc. ! ! The location is superb, the hotel well maintained, the rooms comfortable !! Would highly recommend ! ! !
Nothing major wrong, but we were a bit underwhelmed. Location is at the very end of the great shopping street and it looks great on the outside. The staff was quite inflexible with requests and the towels and the overall look was a bit "scruffy". Plus for the "gym", the terrace and Chopard cosmetics. A big minus for the pool (child size) and an underwhelming 5 star experience.
The Best Hotel In Barcelona hands down i must say it Location Location Location!! the Hotel staff treat you like royalty they remember your last name each employe know your last Name it's crazy nice. the room had balcony with a city view very nice the bed was amazing the bathroom was amazing i can't stop using the word amazing! lol everything about this Hotel is Great i would totally recommend this Hotel to anyone.
Outstanding service throughout, concierge could not do enough for us very helpful. Jazz night was fantastic. Rooftop bar was lovely and staff very friendly, great views of the city and a lovely place to unwind. We had a senior suit which was a great size and had a sauna in the bathroom.
