Fantastic location, lovely wee balcony, mattress was PERFECT for me (I love a harder mattress, wife would of preferred bit softer) Reception staff could not of been nicer Only small thing for me would be the outside noise up to midnight time BUT that’s the Spanish culture we all come to enjoy and I am Scottish like an early night and a VERY light sleeper, highly recommend for the price location and balcony

Great stay here! The property is straight to the point and exactly like the pictures. The staff even allowed us to check in 3 hours early, which was awesome and made our stay 10x better. Just beware that the hotel is on the 3rd floor, so you will have to walk your bags up! Overall, we had a great stay and enjoyed the neighborhood. Many dining options along with bars, gelato, etc.

The staff was nice but never seemed curious to ask anything… they just watched us come and go, struggling. There is no elevator, so you have to carry your suitcases up three flights of stairs… in a hallway that smells every moment like a sewer. And the stairs after the first flight are were broken, wobbly and crooked. The temperature in the hostel was out of control. Super hot, no ventilation. The shower sprayed water that got everything wet and hot water was very inconsistent. The space in every aspect was too small… the hallway to the rooms was always congested and awkward, the bedroom was so small we had no way to access our suitcases without putting everything away to pull out what we needed, there was no shelf for toiletries, no place to put suitcases away, no way to take clothes out of our suitcases or put anywhere, the bed barely fits in the room - let alone two people. The lights were broken. The blankets were unwashed. The water from brushing our teeth got us sick for two days and there was no clean water to drink, plus the kettle for tea in the hallway was unwashed. We liked the location but were very uncomfortable anytime we were in the room… which we had to stay in as we got sick, and constantly were trying to control our body temperature from the raging heat we had no way to control. It was a very difficult stay and we cannot recommend it unless you are a solo traveller with low expectations.

Very good choice for a super central location

Super well located, friendly staff, clean and comfortable. Of course a bit noisy in this neighborhood, but reasonable.

This is a very good Hostal. It is ideally located for easy walking to museums, restaurants, local landmarks, banking facilities and tours. Very clean and the staff were helpful. Excellent security and 24 hour reception. It is located on the 3rd floor of the building and the final staircase is somewhat narrow on the risers. Also the motion activated lighting on the staircases didn’t always work.

This is most definitely a budget accommodation. I wouldn’t say I enjoyed my stay, but I didn’t actively dislike it. The room was small (as expected), but not like the pictures. The shower was nice and relatively large for a hostel en-suite. The building has charm, but lots and lots of stairs. The staff was 50/50 - one of the overnight staff was extremely rude after our air conditioning died, but most people were friendly enough. The location is great, but I personally would spend a little bit extra for a better accommodation if you’re planning on spending any time in the room at all.
