We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. The hotel is close to Sagrada Familia, Torre Agbar, Museums of Music, Arts, etc. It's a good choice for a city break, you have wi-fi, lounge bar. The furniture is simple and basic. All TV programs (3-4) are in spanish. From hotel to La Rambla by walking is about 30-40 min.
We stayed here for 2 nights before boarding a cruise. The hotel was booked by the travel agent. It's not near the centre which we liked. 10 minute walk to catch the city tour bus which took us everywhere we wanted to go. The staff were helpful & friendly & their English was way better than my Spanish. Breakfast was good with a great variety on offer. The room was smallish but had everything we needed including a mini bar & Good, hot shower.
Stayed here last week, with my friends, on transit to our cruise. A lovely clean little hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Would definitely use them again if I come to Barcelona for a break again.
This hotel is close to Sagrada but too far out of the main city Centre. The room was very small and the window opened on to a corridor. Therefore there was no natural light and no way of knowing what the weather was like. The room was kept very clean. If you consider staying there ask for a room opening to the outside.
The location of this hotel is so so, the area is normal, nothing special, you have shops around. Location: Is not the best, you have to walk some blocks to arrive to the metro station, there are some shops around and thats it. Reception: Cold, didnt like it. Rooms: My room was veryyy small, with a tiny window for natural light Will I come back?: I'm not sure what happens with the other reviewers, is like i have been in a total different hotel, i double checked and no, this is the hotel i was in. I for sure wont come back. Tiny room, small reception, petite windows in the room, is more like an hostel indeed.
We had two nights pre-cruise at the hotel. It is very handy for the Sagrada Familia (15/20 minutes casual walk). Small supermarket next door, plenty of bars, places to eat within easy walking distance. Good breakfast for €9 each. Very helpful concierge who was pleasant and only too happy to help and advise regarding places to see, he even booked our Hop on Hop off bus tickets. Room comfortable with refrigerator, excellent Wifi.
I spent three nights at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and the hotel was clean and well laid out. Breakfast was continental it had a large variety and was very tasty. Bed and pillows were comfortable for a good night sleep. Safe was included in the room price. Plenty of toiletries in the room also included. Hotel had easy access to Metro and attractions with plenty of restaurants nearby and a supermarket next door. I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to others.
This hotel was lovely :) The staff were so kind and helpful. The room was clean and simple but also got a modern touch. Breakfast was simple but nice :) I would use and come back to this hotel on my next stay in Barcelona. It's so close and easy walk to the Sagrada Familia. A very positive experience. Thank you Hotel glories :D
Visited Barcelona for 3 nights primarily to visit the Nou Camp with my father and 9 year old son. We booked a triple room, the third bed was actually in an adjoining room, sharing a bathroom. This worked great for us allowing some privacy when required. We found the hotel to be clean and functional, perfectly adequate for its rating with elevators to all floors. The room was serviced with air conditioning, televisions, safe, free wifi, minibar (separate charge) plus the usual complimentary toiletries. Location is fine with Glories metro station approx 5-10 min walk away. We preferred to use public transport for all our journeys including transfers to/from the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, particularly Zoran in main reception who speaks good English. He helped identify suitable train times to visit Ferrari land in Salou during our stay and mapped out how to get to Barcelona Sants train from the hotel using the metro system. Breakfast was well stocked with the usual choice of warm drinks, juice, cereals, fruit, pastries, toast, scrambled egg, sausage etc.
I cannot say enough about Hotel Glories!!! It was perfectly situated in a sweet local neighborhood. All the staff could not have been more helpful. They even booked our hotel for our next stop and even checked on train times! A 10 min walk to La Sagrada Familia but out of the chaos of it all. The rooms were spic and span clean, quiet and well appointed. They had a decent breakfast and also a small bar. All in all I cannot say enough about Hotel Glories and Barcelona too. The city was immaculately clean and well maintained and extremely welcoming!!!
