This motel did not have heat. Only air conditioning. It was not a problem but could be if weather is not warm.
I really liked the hotel and everything was just perfect except getting a taxi was very difficult. I had to go to the Ramble to get one and then even that was hard.
It is a very good location and easy to access various places in the city . We are having no problem finding the things that we want to buy .
This is a great location for walking to things, like LaRambla, shopping, restaurants, either of the two hop-on hop-off bus companies. Their coffee shop in the lobby had great cappuccino and breakfast sandwiches or sweets. The room was very clean and a little bigger than a standard European room. There were two elevators. The room has a mini bar and a wonderful shower. There is a roof top pool and relaxing area. I would stay here again.
Air conditioning did not work the entire time I was there and the magnetic keys frequently did not work. Otherwise, it’s a nice place w great staff

This hotel was a very unexpected but pleasant modern building right in the middle of the old area. It's cool and clean and quiet (at least our rooms which were away from the front of the building). Has a great cafe in the lobby and a small pool and jacuzzi. The staff were very nice and helpful.

Myself and two of my friends traveled to Barcelona for a fun weekend. After a horrible experience with the previous hotel we were trying to stay at we made our way to Catalonia Avinyo. Our reservation was extremely last minute (made about 10 mins before we arrived to the hotel). The room was already prepared and they were able to accommodate 3 guests. The staff was beyond amazing. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a central location.
Location is great but bathroom was dirty, ac was not working as it gets switched off for the winter (even though it's unbearable to sleep without it). Had to open a window but was forced to listen to people outside screaming and talking all night long. Staff was not attentive at all when told about the ac issue or in general. Overall, if I went back to Barcelona I would definitely be staying elsewhere!

We were so happy with our stay in this hotel. The location is wonderful - right near the Plaza Real and just minutes from La Rambla. If you are looking to stay in the heart of the city, this place is for you. We are a young couple and enjoyed being on a pedestrian street lined with bars, restaurants, and trendy shops. The noise during the nights did not bother us, but if you are looking to stay somewhere super quiet, this might not be the right location for you. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were originally in a room with two twin beds pushed together, but since we are a couple and were sharing a bed, this became uncomfortable. They immediately moved us to a room with a full-sized bed and were very patient and accommodating. The roof deck has a nice view with a little pool and jacuzzi. Overall, I think this place is well worth the price. The room was small but comfortable, and to us location was the most important factor. Also, our experience with booking through Orbitz was very impressive and I highly recommend their service.

Great location near restaurants, shopping and Las Ramblas. Clean rooms. We enjoyed the balcony looking down at the people walking on the street. Will stay there again.
